Miracles in the Quran

Debate about the Quran. If it is actually true.
And what about some of the miracles in it, and that the Prophet couldn't read or write.

“We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?"
(Surat Al-Anbiyaa – The Prophets: 30)

It really suprises me to see a buddhist answer like this. I think the image in my mind regarding the buddhists are rather different. More tolerant and connecting and compassionate and reconciling in their speech and calming in their silence. Anyway. But you had to say one way or another you dont agree and I respect that, too.

There were people many centuries before Muhammad lived who believed life came from/made with water.

I used to help with ideas a few years back for the videos on the "TheIslammiracle" YouTube channel that goes over miracles in the the Qur'an. You would do well to check them out and keep dawah focused on philosophical and mystical things or else you will run into stuff that you may not like.

I don't believe I can, because Islam is the truth.
But the purpose of this thread is for me to see the answers of the mon-Muslims

Every single thread here on RF where a Muslim tries to show the "miracles" and or "science" from the Koran fails to avoid the Forer Effect.

All living things are mostly made up of water and clay is also made of water. The body is also made of dust
Contardistinction

"What is the matter with you, that [you fear not Allah (His punishment), and] you hope not for reward (from Allah or you believe not in His Oneness). While He has created you in (different) stages"
"O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind".

What about this?

If you find any miracles or mistakes in the Quran please say.

.

 did you even make it to high shool?!!!

you have fallen in 2 epic mistakes...

1- it's true that water makes up a significant percentage of the human body (about 2/3), however, we can't say the same thing about clay or soil in general, in which the water content typically reaches values about 20~30% in fully saturated cases... saying that clay is made of water is like saying that a cheeseburger is made of bread... besides, what makes clay.. well, clay... is the grain size, chemical composition as well as other soil properties... take water out the clay and it will still be clay

2- the body is made of Dust?!!!... for your information, the main element of soil is Silicon, which makes up an extremely small percentage of the human body, the main elements that that life is based on are Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, as well as several other elements, Silicon comes near the bottom of the list...

If you're unwilling to consider the possibility that you may be wrong, there's no point for debate. Blind faith never listens to reason.

These "Islamic/Koran Scientific Miracles" threads never get very far, they are rather funny to read though. :D

but you gotta admit, they used to be much more intelligent back then, debating with them was actually a challenge... Ah, the good old times

So soil is a part of the human body, I believe Allah created it from soil and clay, then Allah made it into a sperm. And most of the body is water

I believe that Islam is true and that there are miracles in Islam. But when I see answers then I may change.

What reason do you have to believe that Islam is the truth?

The reason to believe that Islam and the Quran are the truth is highly relevant here.

Any account of a miracle that might be described in the Quran is true if the Quran is true, but if the Quran is highly dubious then there's no reason to believe in miracles described in it.

As for any other miracle described (Islamic or otherwise) there is no evidence, no credible reports, and no reason to believe in them.

Actually it isn't.
This thread is for people to discuss 'miracles' in Islam. If there are miracles in it then it must point to something.

The prophet said: If a fly lands in your drink, dip it all in and then take it out.
