Been listening to Z-Radio. They have been playing really good songs. They just played "Praise the King", by Cindy Morgan, which is a song I like of hers. They are playing good stuff. www.zradio.com/index/listen

Le plongeur avec attitude...
It's on my PC right now too, FFH. I get three Christian stations on my XM radio in my Ridgeline, but none are as good as Z-Radio!

Does Z-Radio play contemporary? I'll have to check it out, regardless. :)

Without Love - Stacey Orrico

If I speak in the tongues of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding noise

If I have the gift of knowledge, and if my faith moves mountains high, and have not love, I am nothing

Though I know the one who holds the stars in the heavens, in the palm of his hand,
and if I give all I possess, to the poor and the helpless, I've still gained nothing, without love

Love is patient
True love is always kind
Love does not envy, never braggs, is never proud, is slow to wrath
It keeps no records of wrongs against friends
Love forgives
We all could use forgiveness

Love never fails
Love is true
Love's the one thing that can always change you
Love is patient
Love is kind
Love's the one reason the world survives

Treasure -Iona

Consider the flowers of the field in their beauty,
More lovely than even the clothes of a king

Consider the birds of the air flying higher, flying free
You are precious to me

And where your treasure is, there is your heart

If the son asks his father on earth for a fish or for bread,
who among you would give him a snake or a stone ?

How much more does the father above have a heart full of love,
for the children that he calls his own ?

And where your treasure is, there is your heart

Strong Enough - Stacey Orrico

As I rest against this cold hard wall, will you pass me by ?
Will you criticize me, as I sit and cry ?
I had fought so hard, and thought that all my battles had been won;
only to find the war was just begun

Is he not strong enough ?
Is he not pure enough to break me, pull me up, and start again ?
Is he not brave enough to take one chance on me ?
Please can I have one chance to start again ?

Will my weakness for an hour make me suffer for a lifetime ?
Is there any way to be made whole again ?
If I'm healed, renewed, and find forgiveness, by the strength I've never had,
will my scars forever ruin all God's plans ?

Is he not strong enough ?
Is he not pure enough to break me, pull me up, and start again ?
Is he not brave enough to take one chance on me ?
Please can I have one chance to start again ?

He took my life into his hands and turned it all around
In all my desperate circumstance, is there I finally found,
that you were strong enough,
that you were pure enough,
to break, me pull me up, and start again,
that you were brave enough to take one chance on me
Oh thank you for my chance to start again

You Don't Have the Strength -Tammy Trent

You're shakin up, you're breakin down, with the weight of problems
You're all but lost, hope can't be found, in the place where your heart is
So bewildered and confused, you've done all that you can do

We rely upon ourselves, until we're standing on the brink
Sometimes the hardest thing to do, is just give up, when you don't have the strength

There's some place warm, although, the storm may rage around you
Hope knows no end, if you begin with the God who loves you
There's a resovoir of grace, out upon the sea of grace

We rely upon ourselves, until we're standing on the brink
Sometimes the hardest thing to do, is just give up, when you don't have the strength

We can't, he can, so lay it all on mercy's table
When it's more than you can bare alone, he is able

Sometimes the hardest thing to do, is just give up, when you don't have the strength
His love is strong enough, when you don't have the strength

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake

Psalms 23: 1-6

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I'm so glad you pulled this up. :)

I was listening to a Todd Agnew song in the car, while driving my daughter to school and it blew me away...

My Jesus by Todd Agnew

Which Jesus do you follow?
Which Jesus do you serve?
If Ephesians says to imitate Christ
Then why do you look so much like the world?

Cause my Jesus bled and died
He spent His time with thieves and liars
He loved the poor and accosted the arrogant
So which one do you want to be?

Blessed are the poor in spirit
Or do we pray to be blessed with the wealth of this land
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst for righteousness
Or do we ache for another taste of this world of shifting sand

Cause my Jesus bled and died for my sins
He spent His time with thieves and sluts and liars
He loved the poor and accosted the rich
So which one do you want to be?

Who is this that you follow
This picture of the American dream
If Jesus was here would you walk right by on the other side or fall down and worship at His holy feet

Pretty blue eyes and curly brown hair and a clear complexion
Is how you see Him as He dies for Your sins
But the Word says He was battered and scarred
Or did you miss that part
Sometimes I doubt we'd recognize Him

Cause my Jesus bled and died
He spent His time with thieves and the least of these
He loved the poor and accosted the comfortable
So which one do you want to be?

Cause my Jesus would never be accepted in my church
The blood and dirt on His feet would stain the carpet
But He reaches for the hurting and despised the proud
I think He'd prefer Beale St. to the stained glass crowd
And I know that He can hear me if I cry out loud

I want to be like my Jesus!
I want to be like my Jesus!

Not a posterchild for American prosperity, but like my Jesus
You see I'm tired of living for success and popularity
I want to be like my Jesus but I'm not sure what that means to be like You Jesus
Cause You said to live like You, love like You but then You died for me
Can I be like You Jesus?
I want to be like my Jesus
