Ecclesiastes 7

Ecclesiastes 7:8 says the end of a matter is better than its beginning. in 7:1 it says the death day is better than the birth day. Anyone have thoughts on these?

It is what you read in to it, I guess. That quote does not state the matter involved, and for the latter, death day can be good for those terminally ill and experiencing agonise pain.

Various results.

Hmm... maybe they refer to the belief that dying and entering heaven is better than being born and entering life? I'm not sure.

Solomon gets deep with his wisdom. I like 4:9-12: Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord[God, Man, Woman] is not quickly broken.

This is a good one to try to figure out how you could take this inwardly as an inner process. One thought isthat when your conscious and subconcious mind are in accordance you are one with the Divine.
