I'm thinking you need to learn what shirk is.

I respect Sunnis. I'm still married to a Sunni.

I just don't respect those who follow the teachings of ibn abd wahab

Oh well in matters of Aqeeda, I am one hundred percent with ibn Abd Al Wahab and his teachings.

And again you ignore the question..please explain why we dont draw pictures of Muhammad.

I'm not being dodgy nor evasive. I for one and combating your lies and misinformation of me.

As for the legality of drawing Imams, I find it pointless to talk of such with one who doesn't even know what shirk is.

If I didn't know better, I'd guss you actually believe drawing someone is literally claiming they are a partner to God

Lol and you find wasting time and ignoring whats been asked of you useful.. I didnt ask you to convert me to Shia Islam, all I asked was your understanding behind the reason for not drawing the Prophet? Its all good, I have lost all hope with you, cant say I havent been patient. Peace and Good luck with bashing Sunnis lol, pathetic how you cant answer a simple question yet find time to reply with one liners..

Personally I see it as more of a problem and not favorable at all, what you do is upto you, Allah's form is beyond our limited capabilities to contemplate. Always has been, Muhammad was human, he lived amongst us. I believe having a picture of Muhammad would cause a subconscious connection being formed, When I pray my mind is clear, I reckon if we had pictures of Muhammad we would subconsciously associate his image in our heads with that of Allah although this maybe involuntary.

Please dont make claims that I dont know what shirk is without explaining why..whats the use of these discussions. I am well aware of shirk, and consciously guard myself against it.

To do that they would find that Mu'awiya was not as rightous as they pretend he was. Otherwise, looking past what he did to Imam Hassan (as), how would he allow that drunkard of a son into power?

If it is not for imam Khamenei Fatwa regarding the importance of not insulting the key figures of our Sunni brothers, i would have elaborated on how the Ummayads who are enemies of islam according to the prophet and the Quran, were empowered and helped to rule the Muslim Ummah.

p.s. I don't remember the wordings of the Fatwa, but it's available in the web.

In the name of allah….

Peace be upon prophet Muhammad and the 12 Imams from his household that Allah has appointed for humanity to follow…

I don’t have much time to actively be involved in this debate…
However I have chosen some posts to reply to…

The imams a.s themselves have answered similar questions…
The answer is: there are many things in life that I may accept or I may not accept for my daughter, However it is Allah who decides what is accepted in Islam and what is not…Not me and you.

Be sure that in shia Islam, puberty is one condition of girl to be married, however there are other conditions…

You tend to understand Shia religious rulings based on your false claim that the prophet SAWW married Ayshah while she was SIX (6) and had sexual intercourse with her when she reached NINE (9)…which is a lie!

As of the rules related to the details of what is allowed and what is not when a married man is having sex with his wife, you need first to read about what the Sunnis say, before starting to accuse the Shiites…

You need to read that the ones who came to power after the death of the prophet have burnt the Hadith, and prevented you from writing it…

That is why the Hadith you have has been written in the second Islamic century…

So, knowing what is permissible in Islam and what is not can’t be decided based on the hadith that you have…

Know that by his martyrdom, Imam Husain a.s. saved Islam, by remembering his martyrdom we have contributing to save Islam…

You need to claim this, otherwise you will be faced with the question of how Yazid and his father were able to come to power of the Muslim Ummah

You need to research to know was it the prophet SAWW or was it Umar who cancelled the Mutt’a?

Your claim about Khomieni is intentional lie and I can see what kind of person are you…

By the way, according to the Hadith of the prophet Ali is al-farooq (the distinguisher)

A Question to any non-shia muslim, who are the 12 Imams mentioned by the prophet SAWW?

Peace Shia islam
Firstly note i made no claim. All i did was ask a question and all the Shia's were lost for an answer. You know khomieni teachings is contrary to the teachings of Islam and i don't have to proof it.Its all in his green book or maybe you are not aware of it.
secondly regarding your question on 12 imams i will open new thread and show you our Sunni belief and how Shia have lost their way.
Peace
Farouk

For some time i have avoided following the news about what is called the "Sexual Jihad", a term describing manipulated young May-be-Salafi-related girls volunteering to offer their 'sexual services' to radical 'Jihadists' fighting the Syrian Government.

At the beginning i thought that the story is made up by the supporters of the Syrian government ...

Till I watched Tunisian mother crying for her young daughter who was 'fooled' by the terrorists...

Now read this and share your opinion:

Paid for by Qatar and Saudi Arabia for the sake of jihad.

Can you please link me to this fatwa?

Here is it:
Fatwa Banning the Insulting of Aisha or any Other Sunni Figures

Khamenei's Fatwa: Insulting Aisha or any of the other Islamic Models of the Sunni's is Forbidden

Insulting the models of the Sunni brothers, including insulting the spouse of the Prophet of Islam [Aisha] is forbidden. This subject includes the wives of all the prophets and the Lord of the Prophets, the Great Prophet, His Holiness Mohammad.

Jazakallahu Khair brother. Is this an abstract or just a short fatwa? Also a side question is the scholarly work in Iran done mostly in Farsi or also in Arabic?

When they have equal rights both under law and in social standings or when they are in an equal society rather than partriarichal dictatorships.

My personal religious study includes studying many of the main Shia books that are taught in the Hawza (religious seminaries) , although i am studying them in an academic institution. However i have some knowledge about studying in the Hawza.

it may be claimed that the main Shia Hawza is the one in Najaf (iraq) which is around 1000 years old. Even n Imam Khomeini has studied in Najaf.

The chief of the the Hawaza in Najaf is Ayatollah sistani, who is persian. There are 3 more ayatollahs who comes after him in status.

They are Bashir Najafi (Pakistani), Issac Fiyyad (from Afganistan, according to my information), and Ayatollah al-Hakim who is Iraqi.

In Najaf most of the teachers teach in Arabic, although i am almost sure that there are scholars who teaches in Farsi. It's also likely that other languages such as Urdu is used in teaching.

In Qum (Iran) in the other hand, many teachers teach in Farsi, although there are many who teach in Arabic too...

They started to offer short courses in Qum. I am almost certain that English is used in teaching in some of these courses...

Fatwas tend to be short and abbreviated...so i think the text of the Fatwa i provided is the full text.

Huh?!! Those girls are assumed to travel thousands of kilometers away from their home (Tunisia) to a war zone where they are supposed to voluntarily give themselves to dozens or hundreds of men. But at the end of the day they are "fooled". As you can see it is a very convincing story!

As I pointed out before who first invented it was the Syrian regime.
