I believe that premarital sex is not something that we should do. The men of god may have married many women, but they did marry them.

Um, all this talk of pre-marital sex and sex being designed for marriage got me to thinking...why don't animals get married then? I mean come on. Sex was not "designed" for marriage. It is for procreation. The only reason there is any question about it for humans is because we happen to enjoy sex and have it for fun as well as procreation. We are intelligent and have a tendency to over-think things. Now dolphins also have sex for fun as well as procreation, they are also intelligent, though I find it hard to believe they over-think the act of sex. As of yet, I haven't heard of any evidence of dolphins gathering to worship some god or gather for a ceremony to marry two of them so they can have sex. A little ridiculous? Maybe. But my point is just that sex was not "designed" for marriage...else only the married would have it...all species.

Here's a good one. Why would marriage be okay between one man and several women, yet not one woman and several men? Why are there double standards? If a man can marry five women because he wants to have sex with them within the law of marriage then why can't I marry 5 men because I want to have married sex with them?Buttons* said:
