All about Demons

Since i am still new i am going to ignore you intirely and focus on what i came here for. Yes i did come here to know how they react to new satanists. But that is not all i came here for.

By here where do you mean? And which aspect of Satanism do your personally adhere to? And by us, who do you mean?

I think you know what I mean. Jesus isn't a part of Satanism. I know of not one Satanist who includes Jesus in their spiritual practice, at least in a positive way. Satanists are not like Wiccans, New Agers and the like in that we don't feel the need to be polite towards the religious icons of the mainstream pop culture. So we don't really babble about stuff like "oh, I like Jesus, but not Christians" or talk about things like "Christ consciousness". Do you understand me? We don't want anything to do with Jesus. Many of us take part in blasphemy rites where we spit on, trample on or otherwise deface symbols of Jesus and Christianity. I feel fairly safe in saying that I can speak for the vast majority of Satanists on that, if not all. Personally, I think the Jesus of the gospels was a vile character.

I know about the cross of Peter. You know that a crucifix with a Jesus corpus on it is not the same as a bare cross, right? I used to be a devout Catholic, ffs.

Lol not neccesarily. They're are so many more angels than just the Judeo-Christian models. Interestingly enough, a lot of the angels are also considered demons by other cultures/religions and even at different points of time within the religion. By angels, I mean entities that are less demanding on the psyche than those that are most traditionally associated with mainstream Satanism.
How do you know that they are "more demanding on the psyche"?

I think your issue is that you just don't view Demons in a positive light and that's leading you to these fearful responses of "caution" about it. I'll pray to a Demon right now, or even Satan himself. Nothing bad will happen to me.

Da man, when I walk thru!

Indeed, you are entitled to do that which you so choose.

You are entitled to your opinions and beliefs kind sir.

Thus why I asked you about your opinion of it?

Personal experience.

Again, your are entitled to whatever opinion you so choose sir.

Thank you. So is it possible for a newby to summon a demon with success?

I haven't done so, but I would imagine the only thing that matters is having studied enough to know what you're doing and having the proper state of mind and intent.

Personally, as a Theistic Satanist, I am more interested in prayer, divination and meditation at this time than I am in ritual.

How exactly does that work?

Basically, you sit in a darkened room, relax and put yourself into a meditative state. Stare into the bowel and eventually you'll see images or figures in it. You can also do it with a piece of crystal or a mirror.

Obviously things like Tarot cards and Runes would be easier for the majority of people, since scrying requires concentration.

Do you communicate with demons?

Not yet. I'm rather new to it, to be honest. I would go back and forth between Catholicism and Satanism/Luciferianism for a long time but now I've made the decision to stick with Theistic Satanism. I'm still somewhat in a period of studying but I do meditate on Satan and pray to him.

It's good to know that i am not the only newby in something. Only i went from Xtian to Satanism. It is very hard with my family being Xtian. So i have no one to go to for help when i feel the need to.

Hahaha. No worries. I've been studying Satanism for a few years now but it has been difficult for me to let go of Christianity on a purely emotional basis. It's very easy for me to dismiss Christianity on an intellectual basis, but ardent religious practice causes you to have an emotional bond with it that can be very hard to overcome. No wonder why blasphemy rites are recommended for some people. But I love Satan. He is beautiful to me. He is so much more than Jesus ever could be.

My mom is Christian and I live with her. But she's more open-minded. She also has beliefs that are outside of Catholicism. I was actually talking to her tonight about being a Satanist and that I believe in Satan and she didn't have a problem with it. She just said that it might be easier for me to say I'm a Pagan, when people ask, because the vast majority of people don't understand Satanism and will probably judge me or freak out over it.

Anyway, you can talk to me about these things. Maybe we can learn together. :) There are also other spiritual types and magicians on this subforum who can offer you more comprehensive advice on this subject. I'm sure they'll be along in this thread eventually. :p

They might. My mother is as close minded as a sheep. She believe in God and God only. So i live in solitary in my physical life.
