Some people read the New Testament the same way. They even read "Revelation" that way, which is enough to screw up anyones mind.

Whatever the meaning of jealous -- red in the face, fervent, zealous, passionate, and so on -- it is an adjective that only demeans a would-be universal creator.

Anyway, the extermination campaigns attributed to the YHWH demon are quite enough to put it in its rightful place. Worship if if you please, but you are only worshipping what happened to you in the nineteen-forties. NO ONE deserves that.

The Bible is just a book of Bronze Age myth - mostly fiction, delusions of grandeur, demented ramblings and regurgitated myths from other cultures, with some "nice" passages here and there - that people need to stop basing their lives around and that should have no influence over geopolitical or sociocultural events. As for it being "lies", I suppose the "lies" would be when authors tried to pass off their writings as being written by someone else.
