Wow. There's something to be said about the wisdom of children who have yet to be indoctrinated into the culture they were born into.

Though as a love or plants, I have to say they deserve the same respect. *chuckles* My philosophy is simply to acknowledge that as a human, I'm a consumer. I must kill to live. Whether it is killing another animal or a plant makes no difference to me; I respect that sacrifice regardless. And ideally, I like my food to have been treated well during its life.
