Do you believe god/s walk among us? As one of us?

I have lived in haunted houses practically my whole life, miraculously the apartment we are in now has had no issues, but my brother and father have told us many stories since me and my mother moved away.

My grandparents house is practically a portal to another dimension, spirits were so common we largely just ignored them.

I have seen things that are scientifically impossible to explain, period. I've been talked to, had things thrown at, touched, and just about everything in between.

I'm not sure what I believe spiritually, but I know without a shadow of a doubt that whatever these...things....are, they fully walk among us and enjoy doing so. Maybe as other people, maybe in some other freaky deaky spirit realm.

I would be happy to share some stories if you guys would like.

But the main debate I want to discuss, do you believe that god/gods and demons walk among us, and communicate with us? I'm assuming Atheists can't really join in this discussion because they don't really believe in anything like that.

It's sounds like ghosts to me lol. No I don't believe gods, ghosts or demons walk amongst us, though ghosts do much walking anyway :p

I have the idea that there are dimensions that house other, but similar realities. What were the beings like, that you observed?

Eh, maybe. Never had any physical experiences, myself, so I can't really make any definite statements one way or another.

I don't believe the gods/spirits walk among us in the manner the OP probably intends. But if your concept of the gods is pantheistic, everything is gods, so... gods are everywhere and obviously "walk among us" in a manner of speaking. There's not necessarily anything paranormal about it as implied by the OP.

I'm open to the idea of spirits, ghosts, and other beings of that sort existing in our world.

But I only believe there is one God, and He doesn't have physicality or take physical shape in the universe.

Da man, when I walk thru!
My personal belief is that all anceint Gods, Zeus, Apollo, Krishna, Baal, were all stories based on real people with extraordinary understanding of how life functioned, as well as the ability to manipulate that function.

I definitely believe in ghosts and such, not neccesarily God's among us, as I hold the panthiestic and panenthiestic views of God. But since humans really don't have any idea of what causes conciousness, who am I to say that different arrangements of atomic/subatomic particles can't be concious. Definitely had my fair share of experiences that are more of a stretch to explain logically, than supernaturally.

Should've put this in the Theists Only section. :p

I believe in the existence of "other" beings. Spirits, djinn, kami, genius loci, álfar, sidhe, fairies, whatever one calls them, I believe that they refer to the same thing.

I believe that all divinities are the Absolute One, merely attributions and reflections of it. I'm also a panentheist; so I think everything is part of God.

So do I believe "other" things "walk" among us? Yes. Yes I do. :)
God? Nope.

I do believe some supernatural beings have walked among us, like those mysterious men who visited Abraham and Lot. I also believe in ghostly experiences although I'm not sure what the apparitions people experience really are. I have seen things I cannot explain with other witnesses present. This doesn't necessarily prove anything other than we had an experience we cannot explain.

I personally feel like the things I saw are real but this is no substitute for proof.

Yeah I didn't just mean God or Gods, more like things like ghosts, demons, faries, supernatural type stuff.

I've felt the presence of God when I held expectations against the order of nature and then found my place in it again.

Ever heard of hallucinogens? Not saying you took some but they showed me that the brain and our perceptions can be skewed whichever way greatly. So I would think that our brains constantly deviate from baseline (our common perceptions), for some people more than others.
