"All 'cuz that vicar was friendly. They get that dog collar on and people know they're vicars, it's like subtle preachin'. I'd rather they had somethin' bigger than a dog collar, like a piece of rope around their necks (imitates hanging)."

Me: "I'm religious."

The "oh crap" look was priceless, but why do I have to deal with this kind of ****-nugget mindset? :facepalm:

The 'only if you're a Sikh' law applies only if the kirpan is carried in a public place. I have 2 kirpans and a rather nice Bichawa in my weapon collection. You may encounter difficulties trying to buy one in the UK though. (Nanny doesn't like us to have weapons in case we hurt ourselves!)

Ouch! I've only experienced them a few times, can't imagine how it is to have it this much. Are you ok?

On the other hand, I've been having headaches a lot... I think I'm straining my eyes. My vision isn't perfect with distance and I'm in front of screens a LOT.

My kids think I'm a geek.

I was excited to get books (a new Tanach and an English/Hebrew Dictionary) in the mail.

Ever since I was little I loved buying and getting new books. Even now I've got 300 or so, and that's AFTER I got rid of a lot of them.


I have a Tanakh too....a JPS Hebrew-English text.
