Maybe we need to think of it this way: A name would be for our benefit, not for God's. I, for one, don't think of "God" as a name, but rather a title. Sort of like "Sir", "Ma'am", "Sire", etc. A lot of people in the Christian faith, just call him "Father".
I always always taught that God's name was YHWH which translated means "I Am That I AM" in the Faiths of Abraham.
This is exactly along my line of thinking, alot more research will lead you to his true name. I use YAH simply because this name was left pretty much intact as opposed to all the other transliterations/translations. Thanks for the input.
