Evolution flaws which proves it fallacy.

Lets say I make a bet with you.

Lets say I bet you that if I draw a circle in the floor when it is raining, the rain will be "conscious" enough to make all the interir of the circle wet.

Then it rains, and all the floor gets wet, including the one inside the circle.

Should it be a surprise? of course not. Evolution is likewise. The species that survive are the ones inside the circle, all the others represent the 99.999999% of species whose mutations werent smart enough to have a stomach distinguish their acids and died.

So let me say it again: evolution works nt because it is conscious, but because only the species that "work" survive. The ones that dont, die, and you never see them again.

Jake, there's no way to discuss this subject intelligently if you do not understand even the basics of evolution theory. Sorry to violate your OP injunction, but you really need to have some understanding of the subject you're debating if we're going to have any kind of reasonable discussion.

Welcome to Evolution 101!

Evolution is not a being, it is a verb. All life evolves for numerous reasons such as environmental changes. New species of animals are found in Madagascar literally every year. Primarily reptiles.
Your concept of evolution somehow being this sentient force is entirely ridiculous and against the very nature of evolution and by saying that it is disproven because evolution is not self aware is entire idiotic.
I believe yours walking is sentient and not random. How can a verb be used in a noun context? You are wrong also by the definitive process of semantics.

hello! i have few questions if you guys have the time to reponse to them.

is evolution a sentient thing? is it self-aware? is the process conscious?

if the answer is no! then...

is your stomach self-aware? is it conscious ?

when your stomach produce a mucous lining to protect itself from being digested by the acid, that's not because it can understands the risk of the acid, but because it was taught to operate that way.

If you swallow a liquid which is a poison, your stomach will absorb that liquid, because that's what it meant for it to do and from there it goes to your blood stream and once that poison is inside the body
it will be used. It's not the fault of your stomach that made you get poisoned and it's not it's responsibility to check what your throw in it, but it's you who has a consciousness to understand that this is wrong.

how does a tree knows what it's fruit should taste like to humans? so it makes them so sweet with tempting smell, looks and colors? why the fruit supply us with important nurtrients and it's not posionous?

is the tree a sentient thing? is it self-aware? is it conscious? if the answer again is no! then...

if an it " evolution" doesnt know and an it " tree " doesnt know then who does?

Please stay on the topic and don't try to explain evolutoin to me. if you disgree with my points then....

you are telling that evolution is capable of desiging us without having a consciousness or thoughts or knowledge or even a reason for it ?

you are telling me that evolution understand when to start evolving an organ and it knows when to stop?

you are telling me that evolution finished evolving living parts and it wrote a full set of instrctions on each specific part, so that a heart will be reproduced as a heart and a lung will be reproduced as a lung
and a stomach will be reproduced as a stomach, but in another human body? and it designed the female body to be capable of receiving and understanding those instructions?

all of this from mindless evolution without...

Any understandings of it's surroundings, brain, thoughts, without knowing what it's actions are, and without realizing what the reasons are.

, my :god:! (Translation: "Oh, my god!")

:biglaugh:

I've not read anything so utterly (and insanely) ignorant before!

You have absolutely no idea what evolution is, do you?

My suggestion is to read, understand, ask question and learn from science/biology textbooks or from websites that teach or explain evolution-101 are neither anti-creationist nor anti-atheist sources (meaning free from creationist or atheist biases - which is, purely scientific sites).

Cells, genes, DNA, mutations, etc, have no sentience, PERIOD!

Evolution is any one of the biological mechanisms, not a magical or supernatural sentient being, that determine what offspring or descendants are reproduced that have been changed.

Changes occurred at cellular or genetic level, and have been affected by external, but natural environmental factors, such as climate and terrain of where the creature inhabited, or the availability of food and types of food available (hence dietary resources) in that geographical location.

The changes in genes are inherited characteristics from population over successive numbers of generations.

If you have studied genetics before, you would know that a child would inherit physical characteristics from either parents or from both parents. A child may

This genetic inheritance required no divine intervention or supernatural sentient being affecting the offspring's physical characteristics or features. Does god determine the child have blue eyes of one parent or brown eyes from another parent?

If this is true, then why should god affect changes in genes in a biological population?

Coffee is poison?
LOL. Sorry.

Pure oxygen is dangerous too. And distilled water isn't healthy to drink either, we need the minerals. And drinking too much water too fast can dilute your blood enough to kill you (but it's damn hard to do).

The correct way of living is moderation.

Pixies. Damn pixies. That's how it's explained. They make the world go around, create gravity, and make the tides go in and out (and up and down when we're not watching). :p

People who don't understand jack **** about evolution love mentioning information. "Where does the information come from", "how does new information goes into the genome", etc. etc.

I can see what they must be thinking. They are thinking like when you have a properly written English sentence. So
1) someone sentient must have provided the information in the first place when this is written down
2) if you scramble the alphabets randomly, almost certainly the new sentence won't make sense

This analogy overlooks an important point. For the English language, we have syntax and semantics. For DNA, syntax IS semantics.

Wow. Hit him again with all your rhetoric, why don't you? Blah blah blah. Everyone is so busy calling the poor poster stupid, no one thought to answer his question.

i conclude.

1-without a female body and male carrying the half part of the DNA information, the reproduction process is not possible.
Bad conclusion... A significant portion of life on earth reproduces without the need of separate male/female genders.

2-without the DNA guidance the reproduction processes are not possible
DNA is the molecule of inheritance.

3- the development of the human body must go through stages, so evolution knows when to start which is step A and it knows when to end which is step Z.
No, steps A - Z are a result of evolution over a long period of time... not all living things follow the same steps because they have evolved in parallel with us from a common ancestor.
Additionally not all those steps are followed in developing embryos to begin with, hence the large number of birth defects and failed pregnancies.

4- evolution evolved living parts and it knew how to write the DNA code for the reproduction to happen inside the female body.
again, DNA is a molecule... it undergoes mutation at a pretty high rate despite the body trying to avoid it. DNA isn't written any more than a snowflake is.

5- evolution and natural selections are unconscious processes, but they knew how to write and store the DNA reproduction informations so they must be conscious but you don't know yet? " i know that defy rationality and logic, but it's your choice "
That makes no sense. What makes DNA any more conscious than a snowflake?

6- evolution understand how to encode the sense of directions inside the DNA so a bird can migration and a hatched turtle babies know the direction of the water in darkness and for the cilia to know how to brush dirt toward the outside of the lungs.
And all of those things took tens and even hundreds of millions of years to evolve

7- the body can sense the missing part and with the help of evolution who can design it, they both made a mucus lining inside the stomach to stop the acid from digesting the stomach with the food.
No... that's not how that worked.

8- evolution knows how to speak to light particle or light photons so we can seeing and it knew how to deal with sound wave kinetic energy so we can hear?
Again no... that's not how it works... it's actually pretty basic chemistry.

9- evolution knows that fishes need gills to breathe oxygen from water and that mammals need lungs to breathe oxygen from air?
Nope... basic physics...

10- evolution knows that the chest ribs must be flexible and it knew that the ribs must be engulfed in intercostal muscles to compress the chest cavity to force air outside the lungs? but is that even possible without the atmospheric pressure? so evolution made it too?
That... doesn't even make sense. Interestingly ribs have undergone a lot of changes over their evolutionary history. Several lineages have evolved in quite unique ways from our earliest ancestors.

my conclusion is that evolution is ironicalness theory.
I think a remedial lesson in how evolution works would help.

Why does food taste good?
Food tastes good for a lot of reasons.

Most importantly so that we will eat it and generally eat things that have higher nutritional value for our bodies.

We have evolved to seek out the macromolecules our bodies need to run and to preferentially choose those foods highest in those macromolecules. Being omnivores we have a wide range of foods to choose from.

OK. I know that. Why does it taste good? In other words where did good taste come from?

Most fruit are used to entice animals into eating them so that the seeds can be dispersed far from the parents. The plants that produce fruit spread better then those that do not. Thus the seed baring plants have come to dominate the world in a very short geological time.

The plant doesn't care if it's toxic to humans... most fruit is toxic to us but perfectly edible to other species. Some plants specialize in attracting specific species to do the work for them and producing chemicals to deter others.

Which is why acorn taste great to a squirrel but bitter and unpalatable to us.

Modern fruit trees have been selectively bred by humans to be tasty, we select individuals that have mutations for higher sugar content and increased production for example.

Which group has a better odds to survive, the one that finds apples tasty or the one that finds cyanide tasty?

OMG. Evolution the broken record.

Where did juicy sweetness come from? Why does food taste good?
By the way there is some awful tasting food that is actually very good for human health. But there is so much that is good. Why? Where did it come from?
