Why God placed us on earth away from Him,Plan of Salvation, Faith, Great Commission

God is love

Active Member
As the Father of our spirits, Heavenly Father placed us on this earth, giving us space, away from him {for a time} to develope, learn then choose.

Heavenly Father created our spirits. We are His spirit children. That is why we call Him Heavenly Father.

" the God of the spirits of all flesh..."
Numbers 16:22 {in bible}

"Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us and we gave them reverance, shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of our spirits..."
Hebrews 12:9 {in bible}

"Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee.."
Jeremiah 1:5 {in bible}

Our spirits existed before they entered a body forming for them in the womb.

Like a parent sending his children to school, Heavenly Father sends us, His children, to this earth. God lives apart to see what we will do, away from His presence, as if unsupervised. It is a way to see how we will be, how we will react to situations and what we will choose to do.

For example:
I saw a program about kids playing with guns. The children were placed in a room with toys amongst which was a real gun. {unloaded}. Parents looked through a one way mirror {parents could see child but child couldn't see parent}. That is how God looks at us through a one way mirror. Parents wanted to see if their child would play with the gun when the child thought the parents wasn't around. The parents wanted to know if their children would obey what they had taught "not to play with guns" The parents observed their child while the child thought he/she was unsupervised. Some children obeyed their parents and some children played with the real gun. {their lucky it wasn't loaded}.

God looks at us through a one way mirror to see if we will obey what he has taught is right {good for us}. God has had plenty of time to observe and know what has a negative effect and what has a postive effect upon our lives and He wants to share that knowledge with us, if we ask to know it.

Another way to look at it is that eventually children grow up and are adults and move away from home. In that way we have moved away from Heavnly Father to make our own descisions while away. As adults, Heavenly Father's children make their own descisions, desciding whether to use the knowledge they have gained or to waste it, whether to use it for bad or for good. Life tests this knowledge.

I like the saying "Life is understood backwards but must be lived forwards." and the saying "Half my life is the act of revision." John Irving

I have my own quote "Live and learn if you can live through learning"

Some kids have played with a loaded gun and they didn't get a second chance to learn.
It's true with the choices we make as adults. Sometimes life doesn't give us a second chance to get it right. I've heard the over used saying "Life isn't fair" BUT God is fair and because Jesus the Christ made the Atonement we have a second chance to get right with God. Thanks to Jesus Christ. Justice has laws Jesus Christ has mercy.

Moving away is God's way to see whether we will choose what's bad {creates a negative} or what's good {creates a positive}. People descide whether to choose the bad or the good. The choices we make determines how much we advance or progress. Ultimately, it descides the degree of joy we receive. it is our spirit {desires, thoughts} that governs our behavior.

This life on earth is a grace period in which we can practice God's principles till we get right with them. We in a way, "work out our own salvation".
"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always OBEYED, NOT AS IN MY PRESENCE ONLY BUT NOW, MUCH MORE IN MY ABSENCE, work out your own salvation..." Philippians 2:12
That is practice, practice, practice makes perfect and when we make mistakes we don't repeat them we repent and practice, practice, practice again. This is how this life prepares us to be with God. Through righteous living we can live in His presence again.
"Why put off tommorow what you can do today?"

God recognizes that we need His help!

Excuse me? How can you say that is garbage, I realize that is you opinion but you could you a little more tact or be a little nicer about it. Is all you have to say to people you don't agree with bad things? How about showing a little respect towards people opinions?

Prayer is the heart of religeon. It is how we know what we believe is true and how we get help to live it's principles.

It is so impotatant that I made prayer my avatar. I searched every where to find an avatar that shows prayer.

We should strive to have a personal relationship with God.

"God is mindful of every people whatsoever land they may be in"
Alma 26:37 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

God wants you to succeed.

Reasons to pray, these are just a few:

1. To ask what is true
gain a personal testimony

2. to gain help to live the principles

3. to know what is of most worth to you

4. for guidance to know what to do

5. for protection

6. that ye enter not into temptation
Matthew 26:41

7. pray for discernment {to detect what is good}

How to pray

"He kneeled upon his knees three times a day and prayed..." Daniel 6:10 {in bible}

"By prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known into God." Philippians 4:6 {in bible}

"I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath or doubting." 1 Timothy 2:8 {in bible}

"And the prayer of faith shall save the sick..." James 5:15 {in bible}

"The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16 {in bible}

"And my soul hungered and I kneeled down before my Maker {Creator} and I cried unto Him in mighty prayer." Enos 1:4 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

"Behold I say unto you they are made known unto me by the Holy Spirit of God. Behold I have fasted and prayed many days that I might know these things of myself. And now I do know of myself that they are true, for the Lord God hath made them manifest unto me by His Holy Spirit and this is the Spirit of revelation which is in me."
Alma 5:46 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

"Ye must always pray unto the Father in my name {Jesus Christ}"
3 Nephi 18:19 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
You conclude your prayer saying ...
"I say this in the name of Jesus Christ"

"If he will bow down before me and humble himself in mighty prayer and faith, in the sincerity of his heart, then will I grant unto him a view of the things which he desires to see."
Doctrines and Covenants 5:24
{Revelations revealed to a prophet of God, Joseph Smith}

"Ask of God who giveth liberally and that which the Spirit testifies unto you, even so I would that ye should do in all holiness of heart."
Doctrines and Covenants 46:7

In my post
"Who is the Holy Spirit? How does He answer our questions? How does He feel?"
I mentioned that the Holy Spirit is a guide and His mission is to tesify to us what is true.
It describes in detail how the Holy Spirit feels when He testifies to us. So rather than repeat myself, if you are interested look in there to know more.

We should put our trust in the Holy Spirit which leadeth to do good.

"Trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously and this is my Spirit."
Doctrines and Covenants 11:12

"People are trying to add years to their life, Jesus wants to add life to your years",
life more abundantly.

"In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths."
Proverbs 3:6 {in bible}

"He restoreth my soul, He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake."
Psalms 23:3 {in bible}

"show me thy ways, O Lord, teach me thy paths."
Psalma 25:4 {in bible}

"A revelation I give unto you concerning my will, and if thou art faithful and walk in the paths of virtue before me, I will preserve thy life and thou shalt receive an inheritance in Zion."
Doctrines and Covenants 25:2

"And it came to pass that they did humble themselves before the Lord insomuch that I had joy and great hopes of them that they would walk in the paths of righteousness."
Doctrines and Covenants 16:5

Jesus taught the way

"Wherefore, do the things which I have told you I have seen that your Lord and your Redeemer should do, for this cause have they been shown unto me, that ye might know the gate by which ye should enter. For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost. Then ye are in this straight and narrow path which leads to eternal life, yea, ye have entered in by the gate, ye have done according to the commandments of the Father and the Son and ye have received the Holy Ghost which witnesses of the Father and the Son unto the fulfilling of the promise which He hath made that if ye entered in by the way ye should receive."
2 Nephi 31:17-18 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

"One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism"
Ephesians 4:5

1. Faith,
in the Lord, Jesus Christ

"Be not faithless but believing"
John 20:27 {in bible}

"Your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man but in the power of God."
1 Corinthians 2:5 {in bible}

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Hebrews 11:1 {in bible}

"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear prepared an ark to the saving of his house..."
Hebrews 11:7 {in bible}

"Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed and was delivered of a child when she was past age..."
Hebrews 11:11 {in bible}

"By faith they {Moses and the children of Israel} passed through the red sea as by dry land, which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned."
Hebrews 11:29 {in bible}

"Let him ask {God} in faith, nothing wavering..."
James 1:6 {in bible}

"Now, as I said concerning faith, that it is not a perfect knowledge of things, therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true."
Alma 32:21 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

"experiment upon my words and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe..."
Alma 32:27 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

"Now we will compare the word unto a seed. Now if ye give place that a seed {the word of God} may be planted in your heart, if it be a true seed {the word of God is true} or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves...it must needs be that this is a good seed {or the word is good} for it beginneth to enlarge my soul, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, it beginneth to be delicious to me."
Alma 32:29 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

"Ye have only exercised your faith to plant the seed that ye might try the experiment to know if the seed {the word of God} was good."
Alma 32:36 {ANother Testement of Jesus Christ}

"By this shall you shall know, all things whatsoever you desire of me, which are pertaining unto things of righteousness, in faith believing in me that you shall receive."
Doctrines and Covenants 11:14

"What if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

"To open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of satan unto God that they may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me."
Acts 26:18 {in bible}

All the essential laws and ordinances are revealed within the scriptures. To read them and accept them is your choice to make.

2. Repentance
Repentance is... to not repeat mistakes
One way to not repeat mistakes is... to foresee evil and avoid it.

It requires a willing mind...

"And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a WILLING MIND, for the Lord searcheth all hearts and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts, if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee..."
i Chronicles 28:9 {in bible}

"Behold, the Lord requireth the heart and a WILLING MIND and the willing and obedient shall eat the good of the land of Zion in the last days."
Doctrines and Covenants 64:34

Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we have the opportunity to be forgiven and be saved if we repent. When we make mistakes we have another chance to get it right.

Justice has laws and punishments but Jesus Christ has Mercy.
When laws are disregarded justice requires compensation or punishment.
Because mercy doesn't rob justice there had to be an Atonement made.
In His mercy He was willing to be punished to compensate for the sins of humanity.
Jesus the Christ did what the law required be done.
He was punished so that we didn't have to be {if we repent}.

The Atonement doesn't give the lisence to sin. It is an opportunity to be forgiven.

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized, every one of you in the name of Jesus christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:38 {in the bible}

3. Baptism by Immersion

"Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost."
Matthew 28:19

"And it came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized of John in Jordan {river}. And straightway comming up out of the water, He saw the Heavens opened and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him."

Jesus was baptized by being immersed in the water.

"Verily I say onto to you, that whosoever repenteth of his sins through your words and desireth to be baptized in my name, on this wise shall ye baptize them...ye shall go down and stand in the water and in my name shall ye baptize them. Now these are the words which ye shall say, calling them by name, saying:
Having authority given me of Jesus Christ, I baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. Then shall ye immerse them in the water and come forth again out of the water."
3 Nephi 11:23-26 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

4. The Gift of the Holy Ghost

After baptism the person who has been baptized received the Gift of the Hoky Ghost.

"Then they laid their hands {on the head} and they received the Holy Ghost."
Acts 8:17 {in bible}

I overlooked some scriptures pertaining to prayer. I'm including them here before Part 5

"Yea, behold, I will tell you in your mind and in your heart by the Holy Ghost which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart."
Doctrines and Covenants 8:2

"I say unto you, I will impart unto you of my Spirit, which shall enlighten your mind, which shall fill your soul with joy"
Doctrines and covenants 11:13

If we live the gosple of Jesus Christ, our spirits are perfectly attuned so that we really partake of the inspiration of the living God.

If I post a whole bunch of nonsense and refuse to defend it, it's obviously not a valid point.

It's not just that one thread, I can think of at least 5 threads where the same thing happened.

And I show plenty of respect toward religions where people make the little-ist effort in defending them, I've yet to see ANY effort on him even responding to one of the questions in MULTIPLE threads.

I thought I should define it more for better understanding.
I thought I should do this before moving onto the next subject
"the Great commandment and the Great commission" {part 4}

Why repentence is essential...

In Isaiah 53:4-5
Jesus Christ's mission is described,
"Surely He hath born our griefs {to bear our griefs} and carried our sorrows {to carry our sorrows}, yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted but He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed."

Jesus spoke of this when He said "For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer, if they would repent."

The scriptures give examples of repentence.

1. 2 Peter 3:9 {in bible}
"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentence."

2. Psalms 38:18 {in bible}
"I will be sorry {feel sorry} for my sin."

3. 2 Corinthians 7:10 {in bible}
"For Godly sorrow worketh repentence to salvation."

4. Mosiah 26:29 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"Repent in sincerity of heart."

5. Ezra 10:11 {in bible}
"Make confession unto the Lord."

6. Doctrines and Covenants 58:43 {Revelations to a prophet of God, Joseph Smith}
"By this ye may know if a man repenteth of his sins, behold, he will confess and forsake {not repeat the sins} them."

7. Proverbs 28:13 {in bible}
"Whoso confesseth and forsake {sins} shall have mercy."

8. Isaiah 1:16 {in bible}
"cease to do evil"

9. Alma 32:13 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"For a man, sometimes, if he is compelled to be humble {recognizes weaknesses}, seeketh repentence and whosoever repenteth shall find mercy."

10. Alma 42.29
"Only let you sins trouble you which shall bring you to repentence."

11. Numbers 5:7 {in bible}
"He shall recompense {compensate for} his trespass."

12. Leviticus 6:4
"He shall restore that which he took away or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten."

13. Doctrines and Covenants 58:42
"He who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven and I the Lord, remember them no more."

14. Doctrines and Covenants 1:32
"He that repents and does the commandments of the Lord shall be forgiven."

15. Mosiah 27:24 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"I have repented of my sins and have been redeemed of the Lord."

16. Helaman 5:11 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"He {Jesus Christ}, hath power given unto Him from the Father to redeem them from their sins because of repentence."

Unless you are perfect, you need Jesus Christ's Atonement that offers forgiveness.

17. 1 Nephi 10:18 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"For He is the same yesterday, today and forever and the way is prepared for all men from the foundation of the world, if so be that they repent and come unto Him."

18. Acts 5:31 {in bible}
"Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a prince and a Savior, to give repentence to Israel and forgiveness of sins."

19. Alma 12:24 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"There was a space granted unto man in which he might repent therefore this life became a probationary state, a time to prepare to meet God."

20. 2 Nephi 2:21 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"According to the will of God that they might repent while in the flesh wherefore their state became a state of probation."

21. Alma 34:33 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance."

22. Luke 13:3 {in bible}
"Joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repenteth."

Part 4 "The Great Commandment and the Great Commission" to follow
It answers the question...
"Why are Christians so enthusiastic about sharing the "Good News", the gospel.

"The Golden Rule" or the Great Comandment is
"Thou shalt love the Lord with all thy heart,with all thy soul and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 36:38 {in bible}

"And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments, hang all the law and the prophets" Matthew 22:39,40 {in bible}

Most religeons have embraced this rule. See list following this intro.

In researching the scriptures for principles and blessings, I discovered that there are three catagories of principles:

1. Those that pertain to God such as Faith, Trust and Worship
{reverance, gratitude, praise,such as singing praise}

2. Those that pertain to how we should deal with others.
That has been summed up with the "Golden Rule"
"Love thy neighbor as thyself" Matthew 7:12 {in bible}
"Do to others as you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12 {in bible}

Most religeons have embraced the "Golden Rule" These are some:

1. Judaism
"What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow human beings. That is the law, all the rest is commentary." Talmud, Shabbat 31a

2. Islam
"No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself." Sunnab

2. Sikhism
"Do not create enmity with anyone as God is within everyone."
Guru Arjan Devji 259. Guru Granth Sahib

3. Buddhism
"Hurt not others with that which pains yourself."
From the Udanavarga 5:18

4. Taoism
"Regard your neighbor's gain as your own gain and regard your neighbor's loss as your own loss." Tai Shang Kan Ying P'ien

5. Hinduism
"Do not to others which if done to thee would cause thee pain."
From the Mahabharata 5.1517

6. Shinto
"Be charitable to all beings, love is the representation of God."
KO-JI-KI Hachiman Kasuga

7. Native Spiritual Traditions
"Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves."
Chief Seattle

8. Jainism
"In happiness and suffering, in joy and grief, we should regard all creatures as we regard our own self."
lord Mahavir 24th Tirthankara

I found these "Golden Rule" quotes of other religeons, on the
"Global Oneness Commitment" website

The third catagory of principles found in scripture are those that pertain to ourselves
such as Self Reliance, Self Respect such as Modesty, Chastity, Eating Healthy Foods
{your body should be treated like a Temple for the Holy Spirit to dwell},
Being Frugal, Prudent, Self Discipline is necessary to accomplish these.
This would be "Character Developement", another subject for another time.

Service

"Pure religeon and undefiled before God is this to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction..." James 1:27

I wrote in the post "Confucius taught great principles...", the scriptures that tell us what we should do and what we should give to fellow human beings. That has been posted in what was the Eastern Religeons Forum. Just click on "God is Love" and look for the posts I've written to find it.

One of the responsibilities is to care for the poor and the needy.
The Sikh do this with their tithing contribution, 10% of their income.
The Church of Jesus Christ of latterday saints does this with their fast offerings. They fast 24 hours and donate the money they would have spent for the 3 meals to be given to the poor.

"For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath."
In other words if you had you would give.
2 Corinthians 8:12 {in bible}

"Pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart that ye may be filled with this love...that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him."
Moroni 7:48 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

Some don't naturally have a love for humankind but one of the "Fruits of the Holy Spirit" is Love. The Holy Spirit can put {create } a love in your heart for others who need it.

God wants us to be like Him {Jesus Christ} is. He is our perfect example.

"Be ye perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect."
Matthew 5:48 {in bible}

By acquiring His qualities, Humility, Obedience,Mercy, Compassion, Love and Courage in defence of truth,etc, we become like Him.

As we become more like Him, we spiritually progress.

"Come unto Christ and be perfected in Him.... love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is His grace sufficient for you, that by His grace ye may be perfect in Christ..." if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ and deny not His power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins that ye become holy without spot."
Moroni 10:32-33 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}

At a certain time as in Revelation 20:12 {in bible}, "the books are opened" and we are judged by our deeds.
"And I saw the dead, small and great stand before God and the books were opened and another book was opened, which is the book of life and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

Betty Eadie experienced in her "After Death" experience, a review, perhapps a preview of that time of judgment. She experienced a rehearsal.

Think of it this way, you have had time to practice and practice and practice like, for example, the Olympics, and the time of the Olympics has arrived. At the Olympics, there are judges who judge your perfromance which should show what you have developed, with that time, what improvements you have made since the previous time.

Betty saw her review in the form likened to a halogram. She saw episodes of her life and experienced what others felt as a result of her behavior. If you hurt a person, your persoanl hell is the feelings you caused that person to feel, you feel their hurt, you feel the suffering you caused. If you were kind, you feel their joy, the joy you caused in them. There is a ripple effect to our behavior, how it effects others. Hurt or kindness is passed on to others in this ripple effect. Be a ripple of good.

This judgement relates to the "Great Commission" comming up next.

If you understand the judgement, you will understand one of the reasons Christians are responsible for the Great Commission.

I'll elaborate {for those interested}, others can skip to the "Great Commission." portion of this.

After the spirit seperates from the body {after death}, it will either be in spirit prison or gravitate to the light in spirit paradise. The light is Jesus Christ. He lives with Heavenly Father in His celestial Kingdom. Jesus Christ sits on His own thrown beside Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ visits spirit paradise, where righteous spirits await their resurrection. There have been several reports of "After Death" experiences that people have seen in the light Jesus Christ. This tells me that, at least sometimes, Jesus greets the righteous spirits worthy of spirit paradise, where the righteous spirits may dwell till their resurrection.

They will be resurrected at the Lord's Second Comming to earth where He will set up His Kingdom. He will reign a thousand years { called the Millenium} upon the earth. The earth will regain it's paradiscial glory as was in the "Garden of Eden" During which time the righteous may further perfect themselves to eventually enter Heavenly Father's Celestial Kingdom and live with Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, forever.

People such as hitler are not worthy to be in spirit paradise because he has sinned so much. he will have to be in spirit prison beyond the resurrection. he will not be resurrected untill a thousand years have passed. he will not be upon the earth during the millenial reign of Jesus Christ.

That he is not a typo. hitler does not deserve a capital h. he acted superior while on earth, trying to puff himself up, but in reality, his evilness made him a small person as shown with the small h.

Isaiah 5.15 {in bible}
"And the mean man shall be brought down and the mighty man shall be humbled and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled."

So whether you dwell in spirit prison with the unrighteous or spirit paradise with the righteous depends upon your desire to be righteous while living during this time called {the Time of Grace or grace period or probation}. It's your choice whether you believe, accept and live God's principles.

The experience that Betty Eadie had during her "After Death" experience was a form of review, an evaluation of sorts. It gives her insight into what she has done wrong and what she should do to make right. This is like when a teacher gives a midterm exam before the final. You have a chance to see what you need to correct to get that perfect grade {A+} That review occurs after a person passes on to the spirit world but the final judgement is after a thousands years when the righteous are given a second chance to get things right {be better} and enjoy the Good life.

After the Millenium will be the final judgement {that final exam}. This is when the books are opened.

They will obtain the degree of glory according to the degree of righteosness they have lived. That is either the Terrestial degree of glory, a continuation of the paradiscial glory that will exist a thousand years upon the earth during the Millenium or the Celestial glory that Heavenly Father and Jesus the Christ enjoy through their degree of righteousness, which is perfection. They are perfect.

Jesus said "In my Father's House are many mansions..."
John 14:2 {in bible}

These are degrees of glory.

There are three;

1. The Telestial
a place for the sinners

2. The Terrestial
a place for those who don't do what is wrong but who are not valiant in doing what is right.
The Jews call this degree a place for the average

3. The Celestial
a place for those who don't do any wrong and do all that they should do.
They magnify their righteousness.
They want to be the best {perfect themselves, be perfect} and do the most
to make good for others and to serve God's plan of saving souls and perfecting them.

Within each of these degrees are levels of improvement that you can obtain to.

Matthew 6.20-21 {in bible}
"Lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also."

What does this have to do with the "Great Commission" ?
and what is the "Great Commission" ?

Commission is defined as, to place an order, to put into active service.
God has given an order to put into active service.
"Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel."

This is why Christians are compelled to share the gospel.

"And if they desire to take upon them my name [represent Him in with His principles and their behavior} with full purpose of heart, they are called to go into all the world to preach my gospel."
Doctrines and Covenants 18:28
So that each person has a chance to hear it.

Evangelists and the Church of Jesus Christ of latterday saints have made this commission a sacred labour of love. That is why they make such an effeort to reach all God's children which is everybody on earth. They are motivated because of their sincere love for the Lord and because they care about the welfare of others.

Probably the big question on most people's minds is

WHY ARE CHRISTIANS SOOO ENTHUSIASTIC about sharing the "Good News", the gospel ?

First, because it is the good news.

Those who have the love for others that the Holy Spirit brings are ENTHUSIASTIC about sharing the gospel because of the benefit it has brought to them. They know it will bring good into the lives of others, much good.

There is also an air of confidence about them, a confidence in knowing that they know the gospel is true. That "knowing that you know" is by having a testimony through the Holy Spirit that it's true. That can be acquired through prayer requesting that the truth be made known to you with a confirmation by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit testifies of all truth. That is The Holy Spirit's mission or commission.

To understand Christians, to get inside their head,
you have to read the books they've read:
The books {records} within the bible,
the books {records} within Another Testement of Jesus Christ
and Doctrines and Covenants

By the way, I've printed, read and researched the list that a man made of what he thought was bible inconsistencies. He posted his list on his website that was the cause of a post in bible debate. I have a surprise for the skeptics that will be forthcomming.
I have finished the bible and will be starting the New Testement. When I have completed this work, addressing the issues of the "bible inconsistency" theory, I will post.

So full time missionaries and others who share the fulness of the gospel, want to give the principles that will enable you to dwell with the righteous, in the place prepared for them in the spirit world, {the next form of existence}, while waiting for the resurrection that will come when the Lord comes again. They want to help you on your way to perfection, to give the opportunity to improve now and an opportunity to perfect during the thousand years of peace of the Millenium.

In a manner of speaking they want to help others "make the grade" {A+} for their final evaluation. That eventually will leads us into the presence of Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ in their Celestial Kingdom, where we may dwell with them and their love forever more.

This is the great harvest of souls that those who are commissioned bring to God.

You may say, How do I know that what I am being taught is true?
God provided a way to know all truth, that way is to pray and ask Him.
Just like the boy in the avatar, with reverance and sincerity.

James 1:5 {in bible}
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him."

Revealing to people the Great Plan of Salvation, the sacrifice of the perfect being, Jesus Christ, makes it possible for the repentant to eventually be in the presence of God.

If this seems an overwelming amount of work to do...
Isaiah 41:10 {in bible}
"I {God} will strengthen thee"

1 Nephi 3:7 {Another Testement of Jesus Christ}
"I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save He shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which He commanded them."

According to the Good Religion, we are here to learn how to become , like unto the Most Wise. His/Her purpose of creation is that we eliminate wrongfulness and replace it with righteousness , in the process, we will make the world renewed ( literally Wonderful) and become like unto the Creator in Ethical nature. Of course this gets a lot more elaborated . Just check out www.zoroastrianism.cc & www.zoroastrian.org

Heavenly Father created our spirits. We are His spirit children. That is why we call Him Heavenly Father.

Dear Brother,If we say that God is the Heavenly Father, and We (humans) are His spirit children, then even Jesus is one of us(a normal human), what is the difference, why should we regard him as God?

Because God is Jesus' literal physical Father - not just a father of everyone's spirits. There is a distinct difference.

That means spirit is a different thing and Jesus is different, but wasn't Jesus like us? send to the earth like us, ate like us, drank like us?

If God is our physical father, then half our DNA is His? He impregnated our mothers? I know for sure who my physical father is. And I know Who my Creator is. They are not the same, though my father's Creator is the same as my Creator. Does the LDS have this much difficulty generally speaking, with paradox?
