Hello everyone. My name is Dee and I am a slightly under 40 parent of 2 wonder kids who's been married for going on 6 years. I've been a lifelong Christian, and until recently never had any reasons to doubt what I believe and have held so dear. I now find myself on a search for truth all the while hoping (somewhat biased I will admit) that the search helps to strengthen and confirm my faith rather than destroy it.

I choose the moniker 'The Immortal', not because I'm some mystic, but because of the hope I still have of one day being clothed with immortality as illustrated in 1 Cor 15. I hope to laugh, share, make friends, and learn here.

Hello Dee, I'm fairly new here myself. ;)

A search for truth will never be disappointing! Because truth conquers error.

'You can't put new wine into old wineskins', so sometimes you have to be prepared to allow God to give you a new 'skin' so you can expand with knowledge.

Be prepared for truth to hide in strange places. Sometimes where you least expect it.
