- Do you fear death?
No. Been suicidal too many times.... I'm not anymore, but it's hard to be afraid of something you've wanted so badly.

- What are your beliefs on death? Anything after? What happens when you die?
I believe in reincarnation.

- Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?
Unnecessary.

I live for today my only hope is that upon my death i can still help people by donating my body

What? Me worry?
I believe that when I pass to the next level I'll have to face an astral panel. They will ask me one question, "Did you learn anything?" My answer, I feel, will play a big part in determining how my next rebirth will be configured.

- Do you fear death?
No.

I mean, I'd fear pain and suffering associated with a violent death, but not death itself.

- What are your beliefs on death? Anything after? What happens when you die?
I have no reason to believe that anything about me will survive my brain death.

- Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?
No comfort is needed because I view it as a natural part of life.

What's to fear? It's not like it will be my first time. :)
- What are your beliefs on death? Anything after? What happens when you die?
I don't believe in death. Physical death - well, ok... I suppose that happens, but the rest is just a crock. What happens after "death" is precisely whatever you believe will happen - for a time, it will be just so. The simple fact most will become aware of is that reality is much more malleable than they ever dared imagine.
- Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?
Huh? My physical mortality is of little consequence, again, it's not like it is the first time. I lost my training wheels many incarnations ago...

People say they don't but we really don't know until we actually get to that point, when you KNOW you're not going to be alive for another minute.

I believe in life after death, many people have died, and we're still here.

Yes, if I just said "life doesn't go on" or "no consciousness" then... really it just takes me back to the Nihilistic point I am still having a hard time escaping, so understanding that society goes on after I die comforts me.

Nope. There are some processes of dying that give me the willies though. Being eaten alive by zombies comes to mind.

- What are your beliefs on death? Anything after? What happens when you die?

I have no idea and that doesn't bother me. I hope it will be a wonderful adventure.

- Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?

Sure. But I'm not all that sure I'm going to die. As long as society doesn't collapse and Global Warming doesn't kill us all, medical advancements could extend human life for decades. Since I'm destined to rule the universe it is unlikely I will be dying anytime soon.

not really....It's a great adventure....a little scary and exciting

- What are your beliefs on death? Anything after? What happens when you die?

I will reside on the astral plane and either reincarnate eventually or hopefully move on to higher planes

- Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?

Yes.

But I don't believe because it is subjectively a better belief. I believe it's objectively the most reasonable belief based on my study of the paranormal and eastern religions.

Depends upon what you mean. I fear pain and sometimes pain accompanies death. I don't fear what follows, though.

- What are your beliefs on death? Anything after? What happens when you die?
Death, to me, is what happens when my eternal spirit leaves my body. I believe that I will continue to exist in spirit form for an undetermined length of time, during which time I will be fully cognizant and will experience peace and joy. Eventually, my physical body will be resurrected, restored to its perfect form and given renewed life by my spirit. I'll then stand before God to be held accountable for the way I lived my life. Ultimately, I will exist as an immortal being in His presence and in the presence of my loved ones forever and will hopefully be given the opportunity to continue to grow and progress forever.

- Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?
Absolutely. Life without my beliefs would be pretty much not worth living.

I saw a button once that said something like... "Is there life after birth?"

Think about that for a little while...

The foetus has been in the womb for nearly nine months and faces losing the one source of it's nutrition..the umbilical cord...also it must be cast out of the "home" it has lived in for nine months... It must learn to use new senses it has not used before...sight, hearing, taste..etc. It must breathe through it's lungs in an unfamilar atmosphere..

It would come as no surprise to me considering the above that it could regard birth as a kind of "death" of it's former life in the womb.

Similarly when we lose this mortal frame...we enter a new kind of "life" a spiritual one. We should not fear death:

O SON OF THE SUPREME!

I have made death a messenger of joy to thee. Wherefore dost thou grieve? I made the light to shed on thee its splendor. Why dost thou veil thyself therefrom?

- Do you fear death?

Obviously a painful death I fear. Death itself I am not sure. For now I am not afraid to die, although I am not ready to either. I guess I will have to see when the time comes. I hope that I will have accomplished enough to simply rest.

- What are your beliefs on death? Anything after? What happens when you die?
I don't believe in anything after death, not for "me" at least. Life will go on, my body will return to the life cycle. But "I" will no longer exist, and I have never seen anything supporting life after death. Once my brain stops working all my consciousness will be gone, not in another plane of existence or melding with some supreme conscious mind. All that will live on of me are the stories of me and events triggered by my actions.

- Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?
Not really. I don't see it as uncomfortable.

Do you fear death?

It wasn't so bad before I was born. Assuming there was only nothingness, but I dont know if that was actually the case.

What are your beliefs on death? Anything after?

Could be. We might get switched over to another program. Might be gone forever, though I doubt it. Reincarnation has a lot going for it.

What happens when you die?

You start to decompose?

Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?

Unavoidable, huh? Are you so sure about that?

- Do you fear death?

Not yet, I suppose. When it starts getting closer I will probably begin to regret my life more and more. It depends on how much I accomplish between then and now. I fear being nothing. I fear being forgotten or inconsequential. Death is the deadline for that whether there is an afterlife or not.

- What are your beliefs on death? Anything after? What happens when you die?

I always have two answers to the metaphysical things like god, and the afterlife and the soul. Worst case scenario and best case scenario. Best case scenario is pretty easy. Complete and utter godhood after death. A bit lofty, but that is the best case scenario. Worst case scenario is like you say. What I am will simply disperse back into what it had been before. Whatever I am will be gone. I did have an interesting thought about this concerning loss of information, though. Maybe some little piece of me will remember it was me at one time. Maybe a billion years from now humanity will figure out a way to read the history of every particle there is and pop us all back into existence. Wishful thinking again. Why not dream, though right?

Basically, Schrodinger's cat makes me think its somewhere between those two options. A corruption of the principle to a certain degree, but I like it.

- Do your beliefs bring comfort to you when you face the unavoidable fact that you will die?

No, not really. Comfort is fleeting anyway. I am desperate to make some kind of lasting mark on this planet before I go and earn that truly undeniable immortality that so many humans in the past have earned. Outlook is bleak, however. I don't even know where to start.

Judging from how I've acted when I've been seriously injured or thought I was, I am probably most likely to flip out when dying. It won't be fun, and I'll probably be hysterical.

Who wants to die? This life can really suck, but it's in our genes to want to live. I don't fear death of my body so much as I fear being forgotten/not being able to continue my consciousness. Something about conciousness is really great it would seem.

I have no idea what awaits me after death, and I can't really know until I die, but I like to think that perhaps some spirits live on while others simply break down into a sleep-like hive-mind of God/Universe.

For what reason do you say that?
It's kind of hard to explain. The idea that we simple spring into existence at birth and cease to exist at death makes life pretty much pointless to me. We have all of these experiences, all of these emotions, all of these relationships and then nothing... There's no purpose for any of it. It's just a concept I can't get my head around. Sure there are good times, but there are bad times, too. We all go through a ton of sadness in our lives. In the sad times, if I didn't believe there was some purpose to my existence, I'd more than likely just end it all.
