I've been having conversation with people all over the world.

Hey UV.....Not being around for awhile.....doesn't mean goodbye.
I see no need to shut out everything.

No support?..and you would let go of this as well?

though honestly I never really did belong in any of them.
You made me feel like I belonged though,
I always felt welcomed,
and I appreciate that.

I grew past a lot of pain here,
learned to embrace mySelf more fully,
(though I still cannot get over my weight/body image issues) :(

Nights are going to be much longer for a while
with no ability to post
but I will get over it
and hopefully find the energy then
to do some other things
that are necessary to this major life overhaul.
If only I weren't always so damned tired. :(

To those of you I really have a heart for,
know that I love you, really,
and will keep you with me,
because you have inspired, impressed, and changed me.
Helped me to realize important things about mySelf and my life.
I truly will miss you.
Though we communicate by screens
every now and then the essence of a person reaches through
as if they were really there with you.

Thank you all for having helped keep me sane
through some of the saddest most difficult years of my life.
I wouldn't go completely,
but sometimes
if you really want to change everything
you actually DO need to change everything.

Anyone who wants to write me,
as i said I will be available here a couple more weeks.
I have some business to tidy up here first,
and a few questions for the mods.

I think real life is more important that spending time on the internet, especially time with children. Yet, I always want to remember that each person on this forum, behind the made-up username on the screen, is a real and valuable individual with their thoughts, experiences, joys, and pains. UV, you are in my prayers and will be missed.

I will miss you, UV! I don't want your lovely purple posts to disappear either. I take long breaks sometimes, it's nice to have an account to come back to when I feel the urge. And I have all these frubals. It would be a shame to let those go. Just saying. ;)

How do you close an account? Do you need a staff member to do it? If I could close my account I wouldn't come back in moments of weakness. That would be helpful. This place just ****** me off.
