Herr Heinrich is studying abroad!

Hey guys! So starting this October I will be studying abroad for an entire year in Osnabrück, Germany. My first question is: does anyone want to meet up somewhere to hang out and maybe get coffee? There are a ton of people on this forum that I have always wanted to meet in person, and this could be my chance to meet some of them. I will hopefully be traveling all over Europe while I am abroad so if you live in Europe there is the possibility I can visit. My second question is: what cool places should I make a priority to visit? I like to take my time when I go places, and I especially like outdoor activities so those are a plus. Anyway, let me know peoples!!

How very exciting! I know I loved it when I was going to school in Europe and the Mid East. I suggest you try these spots.

Elba
Gibraltar
Sainte Mere Eglise
Kiel Canal

Those are some of my favorite spots to visit in Europe that aren't as mainstream as the rest. Also, try riding on the Orient Express.

An entire year is not enough to cover even a part of Germany let alone Europe.
And what about study????

True, but it is enough time to see some cool places. Also, studying is secondary to adventure.

Didn't forget, haven't been there. All my suggestions were places I have personally visited and enjoyed. I would have recommended Amsterdam's red light district but since I was 15 when I was there I didn't get to enjoy it properly.
