Thanks for reading, assuming someone will actually read this
never been religious really but always thought theres possibly been a Jesus / God figure out there. Anyway, couple of years ago myself and my son saw what can only be described as a series of bright lights over a period of a few months, some scarily close.
Life shortly after went a little crazy...long story, so i guess i started looking for answers what lifes all about. Now while i am no expert...i have spent many long hours over the last, maybe 18 months or so, looking into orbs(bright lights) then ufos, illuminati, aliens, gods, angels, after life etc.
it appears to me a lot of these, if not all are linked in many ways.
I am seriously starting to believe in God, devil, angels and demons etc.
Finding it all a bit scarey
I think that my journey is just about to start.......:help:

Just to make it easy for me to understand, can you describe these bright lights ? When and where (I mean - in the sky ? In your house ? In the day or night ? ) How close is scarily close ? What did they look like ? How often did you see them ?

What does your son think you saw ? (How old is he ?)

Anyway, you will certainly get some responses from the bright lights here at RF, who may be illuminati, aliens, gods, or angels, but they tend to be helpful and friendly

Welcome to this cyber community!

I don't mean to pry, but could those lights happen to be described as U.F.O.s? Would you happen to live in Arizona? I'm sorry, but that topic does interest me quite a bit. That kind of phenomenon can be quite terrifying, but mostly because it's unknown and, well, flying about haha.

Yes, fear can be a pretty strong motivator. I'm sure you will also discover other, possibly stronger, motivators along your personal journey. I wish you luck and I will be looking for your comments and threads in the time to come. Take care!

firstly thanks for the warm welcome people and for your time on reading and replying.
the bright lights........okay let me explain a little.
Firstly, a little background so you may understand clearer my situation.
My background is engineering, I am quite logical but also very open minded and like to believe I am a very honest person, so much so, it sometimes gets me into trouble.
I have for many years been curious about ufos etc and whilst also being a smoker (terrible habit I know!!) I can often be found in my back garden having a cigarette.
During these times I have always looked to the skys and seen what I have believed to be satellites going over head in the North West of England. Very occasionally I might see something a little strange such as a light that may change direction, flash etc but never anything I would call significant until around May 2010.
May 2010 for me was a life changing month and things have always seemed a little different ever since.
First sighting with my son was an orange ball of light maybe half a mile away, very intense and orange. It was reasonably low (similar to say light aircraft height) It moved slowly and after it moved below my roof line we moved to the front garden quickly to observe it again. During this time it had changed to a yellow/white light, changed direction and moved away at very high speed.
At the time it sent a shiver up my back and I spent maybe the next couple of hours in my back garden watching, as dusk went to night. We had another sighting that same evening this time a really intense white light which came from the direction the other early sighting was going to.
Myself and then 10 year old son talked all night about it and was the first topic on our lips the following morning.
A few days later a closer sighting was seen which was videoed on my sons camcorder though the results didnt really capture the intensity. I guess this was silmilar size to the local police helicopter but silent and really intense in brightness, bit like looking like a diamond under very bright light.
we probably had a dozen or so really good sightings for a couple of months, the mainone being directly over our house being maybe a few hundred feet over head ( I almost ran back in the house as for a moment it appeared to slow overhead).....Scary but a little funny now as i think back.
Anyway I dont tend so see them like I used to but still see the odd thing which I have become to believe are similar entities.
I also managed to see 3 white light crossing one another while looking through my telescope one night and managed to follow one for maybe 20 seconds or so.
I feel very honoured to have witnessed what I have seen and am always on the look out for their return.......however should i be looking for them, well who knows.
my reading and video watching has lead me to believe there is many genuine true sightings being seen along with the fakes, but I will conclude by saying the evidence is so strong that I can not dismiss that I am certain we are not alone and I need to know the real truth.

Thanks for that, now I have some idea what you meant. I am also generally skeptical, but not cynical or dismissive. Your description sounds real enough to me, and you don't seem to have jumped to any conclusions. Probably a good idea.I asked for more detail because I had a hunch that your experience would be something like what you have described. I have also witnessed some peculiar phenomena in the night sky which I may relate to you at some point. I've never come to a conclusion about whether I observed military experiments or something else - I accept that I will probably never know what I observed. There are of course some extraordinary craft being flown by the military, and occam's razor suggests that is the explanation. But there is more in heaven and earth than is dreamt of in our philosophy ...
The first strange sighting for me was also observed by two other family members ( I was about 11 years old), and was extremely close indeed; close enough to observe details of the craft. We were all left with our jaws on the ground, stunned. And like yourself, and perhaps your son, the experience shocked me out of complacency and led to all sorts of questions.

Anyway, there is plenty of time to discuss this, so I will leave it at that for now. Enjoy the forums,there is an interesting and varied bunch here !
