I am not a Christian but a Jew, and from that vantage point I find both the video and this post to be extremely offensive trash.
First, there is simply no justification for the despicable content of the video. Period.
Secondly, I see no justification for the antizionist and antisemitic smear implicit in the OP:
- The video has absolutely nothing to do with Judaism, Isreal, or Zioism, and any attempt to denigrate any or all of these categories with this video is vile and highly suspect.
- The video ran on a private cable network and represented absolutely nothing other than the sick humor of one small group of individuals.
- That network has subsequently gone out of business apparently due to lack of audience.
- The video appears to be resurrected yearly primarily to promote antisemitic vitriol.

That may be the case. But most satire carries offensive content. Some of the most celebrated American satires are also highly offensive. In fact, I believe this is what makes them so popular.
South Park mocks every religious and ethnic group in America. Anyone from Muslims, to Scientologists, Jews, and Mormons. South Park thrives on offensive content and unlike this Israeli program also airs on Comedy Central which has global distribution.
Do you think most Jews stop to get offended every time Cartman asks Kyle's 'Jew gold'?

I never called the video "Zionist" in any way. The person who uploaded it on YouTube did. I actually came across the video listening to Israeli hip-hop. I only clicked on the recommendation because of the girl. The original video I saw had dozens of comments from Christians going ******* over the video and going off on antisemitic rants but I couldn't find the link I originally viewed so I posted this one instead to see what people here think.
And I watched other clips of the show also. It makes me feel good to know that it's not only American TV that's complete trash.
I wouldn't know, but I do think most Jews get offended by the use of such trash by virulent antisemites.
Caladan, to offer that "most satire carries offensive content" strikes me as a rather tepid and useless apology. Not all offensive content is created equal and not all offensive content is promulgated with equivalent intent. Do you truly believe that the author of the OP innocently stumbled upon the video and then, with equal innocence, chose to kindly share it with us?

A great majority of satire aims to offend, this is mild to say the least. And as you mentioned not even broadcasted on mainstream television. Some satire is tasteless, some of it is smart political satire, some of it is offensive and funny at the same time. However you look at it, we are exposed to satire on regular basis, and much of it aims to to take shots at political, social and religious issues. It would be tiring to get offended by all this daily content.
