2012 Launch of African Americans for Obama

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I think as a society we seriously need to get over race issues and direct our collective energies on becoming a better society as a whole. We seriously need mature practical adult people to make it happen, and not grown up little children fixated on things like skin color, nationality, and such.

Race shouldn't be an issue when it comes to presidents, but it is quite refreshing to have a commander and chief who is not a WASP like all the others aside from JFK.

I guess some people get use to something and find it hard to accept anything different.

Sadly enough for some here in the American south, race is a big issue.

Can you imagine what would happen if the Republican candidate for President (most likely Romney) made a announcement for all whites to vote for him.

here is the link of the Obama announcement.

Faux 'news' needs you back at their website. You're playing the old worn out race baiting game.

Our President Barack Obama will win this November in fine fashion. Mostly because the TeaParty won't vote for Mormon Mittens. Unless the TeaParty flip-flops on their foundations.....

I'm guessing they will flip-flop (hypocrites) and vote for the Mormon over the Christian.

Is Fox the real issue?
Is Obama not the one injecting race?
Geeze Louise....this Foxophobic crusade to avoid real issues is looking pretty thin.

Don't you see, Rev? Now that Fox has attacked the openly race-based group, no one else will be able to attack it without Fox coming into the conversation. By opposing it, Fox has made this group acceptable, and by extension it will soon make white-based groups acceptable by the same rationale this group appears to be founded on.

The "Foxophobic crusade" is something they're generating on purpose to distract people from the real issue, and both you and the people attacking Fox and playing right into their conspiracy. It's the only thing that makes sense.

Don't you see, Tee? Obama's hypocritical race based campaigning is the news....not Fox.
They're just the messenger. And in this case, all they did was step up when MSNBC & other leftie sources
would bury it. The constant droning on about Fox News just smacks of a concerted deflection effort.
Conspiracy? Nah, tis just human nature for partisans to circle the wagons around their own, & shoot the "savages".

If it is true, vote how you feel best. If it is false, vote how you feel best.

Race is an antiquated tool. In our melting pot of a country, we need to toss it. However, all of the reporting, shouting, tantrums won't help it go away. Personal growth is all it takes, but how do we promote that?

Of course, the reverse could never be openly said. Imagine that Romney wins, & people say how
"refreshing to have a commander & chief who is not a black protestant" like that last one.

I guess some people get use to something and find it hard to accept anything different.
I guess some people cannot see that one can dislike Obama's agenda solely because of the agenda.

That's my point; Fox's goal isn't to convince you that the racist group is right or wrong, it's goal is to divert the subject of the conversation to itself rather than have the actual issue discussed. Now that Fox has voiced opposition to these racist groups, all of a sudden the groups are acceptable to everyone who recognizes Fox as a purveyor of lies. No one would have supported this had Fox not said anything about it.

... the motivation doesn't make quite as much sense in this case as it did for the story in which they reported a bill that would prevent protests from occurring in the presence of the president, but the general idea still holds.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

Well, you can always do what I did - marry outside your "race," have a passel of kids who are a beauteous mixture of colors, who then grow up and marry OTHER mixtures of colors and who have kids who are impossible to put in any race box.

What color are these people?

What about this one?

Hey, I've done my part to dispel racial stereotypes. Someone else will have to pick up where I've left off!

That's an unusual take on it.

Well, why else would they go around making stories on stuff like this? They know that no one takes them seriously. It's like the time Osama bin Laden proclaimed his support for environmentalism in order to discredit it.

It's newsworthy.
Why would the competition ignore "stuff like this"?
Because standards influenced by partisan politics.

They know that no one takes them seriously. It's like the time Osama bin Laden proclaimed his support for environmentalism in order to discredit it.
How is it that you have a window into the souls of Fox & Bin Laden, & know
their innermost thoughts & intentions? Methinks you presume too much.

However I come from a tradition of not trusting United States government officials since 1776. Democrat or republican, they're all the same to me. I'd place more trust in someone like Russell Means.

I'm looking forward to the day when the American people are open minded enough to elect a Muslim or a Jew for President.

Sounds reasonable to me.

Those are the easy ones.
How's 'bout a heathen?
