Gravitational-ism is a Religion!

God uses glue to hold the universe together, scientism likes to call it gravity. :)

I'm pretty sure there are four forces that hold 'the universe together' (whatever that means), weak force, strong force, electromagnetism, and gravity. But since it is acceptable to just say whatever you'd like in religion and its perfect as long as a past goatherder once said it, I'm gonna go ahead and state that the love that all humans have radiate outward into the universe, pulling all the molecules together.

But all religions fail to be totally understood from a theoretical viewpoint, so Gravitational-ism is no less a religion than Christianity or Islam.

Unlike gravity, which is a phenomenon, meteorology is a field of science, and hence fails to qualify.

I don't think anyone worships gravity, worship being a requirement of religion.

Religions try to answer the three questions below and I don't think gravity qualifies. However naturalism and humanism do qualify. I don’t think that evolution qualifies as a religion per say either, however the religious do use it as a vehicle to push their own religions. If anyone thinks that they have an answer to the three questions below then they are religious and that probably includes most people in the world.

1) Where did we come from?
2) Where are we going?
3) What should we do in the mean time?

The theory of evolution doesn't, nor was it ever intended to, answer those questions.

Where did we come from?

Our parents.

Where are we going?

We? Going? You're gonna have to be more specific, I'm going to the grocery store today, I don't know about you.

What should we do in the mean time?

Again with the 'We'? Specificity isn't your strong suit, I can tell.

Am I religious yet? I answered all three of those questions.

The god particle actually holds everything together but I'm sure gravity has a job in there somewhere.:)
