According to your faith

All the thoughts and feelings that take shape in the minds of human beings, whether they are conscious of this or not, are living beings, and those who bring them into existence nourish them invisibly, every day, with their own emananations.

At the moment of death, some people actually see and recognize these beings as their own children and, although they may try to flee from them, they cannot shake them off. This is why we must learn to focus on light, every single day, and renew our ties with our Maker as often as possible, for it is these ties that will deliver us from the monstrous creature that ignorance has led us to create'.

I am well aware that, in the present state of things, human beings are a very long way from envisaging or accepting the truth of such a statement, for they know nothing about the nature or power of their thoughts and feelings.

They have become so materialized, so fossilized, that this subtle, vibrant world escapes them. They neither feel it nor believe in its existence – and yet they continually manufacture it.

Human beings are ceaselessly engaged in manufactoring thoughts and feelings, good or bad, without realizing that they are bringing tiny entities into the world which, in order to survive, have to feed on those who produce them. This means that, if those entities are evil, they will drain them of all their strength and, if they are good, they will enrich them with many precious gifts.

This is why Jesus said " according to your faith , so it shall, be be "

To be more concrete: We dream our lives and create the world in our minds. The subjective world we inhabit bears little relationship to objective, relativistic/quantam Reality. We're navigating a huge, interactive "computer game."

The trick is either to dream the world you wish to inhabit -- or wake up.

I have a differing understanding of that scripture. But those were some interesting thoughts!

I suppose you disagree that Jesus meant this Netdoc ? What do you say he meant ?

Matthew 9:27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"

28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?"
"Yes, Lord," they replied.

29 Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you"; 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this." 31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region. 32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. 33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel." NIV

This was all about plugging into a higher power: not in relying on your own power. Many times Jesus said "Your faith has healed you" and he even told us that just a eensy teensy tiny bit of faith can do a LOT. In reality, it was faith in GOD that enabled them to do the miraculous.

What sense do you make of the revelations of St John ? What part does it play in your life as a christian ? The new Jerusalem that John mentions , how do you say it will come about ?
