Genesis 6:1-4 When people began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughers were born to them, the sons of God saw that they were fair; and they took wives for themselves of all that they chose. Then the Lord said "My spirit shall not abide in mortals forever, for they are flesh; their days shall be one hundred and twenty years." The Nephilim were on the earth in these days-and also afterwards- when the sons of God went in to the daughters of humans who bore children to them. These were the heroes of old, warriors of reknown.
Nephilim translates to "those who fell from the sky" basically. Now, if I am reading this correctly, angels decided that they needed to breed with women (who can blame them :jiggy: ). This made God decide to needed to not as live as long also. The nephilim are the byproducts of angel/human reproduction then??? This is slightly confusing... So are these the angels that were cast down with Lucifer? Doesn't the book of Enoch also refer to something like this? I remember looking at a book about the Dead Sea Scrolls and Enoch refered to the "Watchers" (no, I am a different type of Watcher then this). Any other thoughts about the Nephilim? I read a David Icke book not long ago. He thinks that the Nephilim are aliens:sarcastic . It was a slightly wierd book....
So about the Nephilim, they were able to bread with people, yet they came from god. If they are in another dimension or something like that, how could they?
