What Does Your Religion Say About ANGELS

Malus 12:9

Temporarily Deactive.
@PFM:You mean kinda like the Good and Bad, Good whispers: "Don't do it it is wrong", while on the other shoulder, the Bad says "You know you want to, go on Do it?"

I don't think that's what she meant, at least I hope not. hahaha. I wasn't, and I'm still not, confused about right and wrong. I'm just confused about my religion.
No, I was just wondering if you can have two Guardian Angels. Is anyone that fortunate?

Jehovah and Jesus are not the only ones who reside in the spirit realm. Jehovah created other spirit creatures, the angels. Gabriel, who spoke to Mary, is one of them. The angels did not begin their lives as humans on earth. They were created in heaven long before humans were created on earth. (Job 38:4-7) There are millions of angels.—Daniel 7:10

Not all of God’s angels stayed faithful to God. Some rebelled against him. They made themselves enemies of God and enemies of people on earth. How did this come about? All the angelic creatures that Jehovah created were righteous and good. However, one of these perfect spirit sons wanted people to worship him and acted on this wicked desire. That spirit creature was given the name Satan, which means "Resister [of God]." He is also called Devil, which means "Slanderer," since he speaks wicked lies about Jehovah.

Peace be with you,

In Islam, Angels are created by Allah just as Man and all the creation. They are created from light. In fact, they belong to the world of unseen. Belief in Angels is one of the six pillars of Islamic faith.
"Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels messengers with wings - two, or three, or four (pairs) adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things." [Faatir 35:1]
Each one of us has two angels on each side, the right side and the left side. Those two angels are called the writing angels, for they write down all our good deeds and bad deeds.
There is also the Angel of death, the one who takes our soul away. There is also the Angel Gabriel peace be upon him, the messenger Angel, who brought the words of God to the Prophets. And there are so many Angels each with different task to perform. Glory be to God the Creator !

Peace

Galations 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. "The Spirit clearly says that in the later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons."
1 Timothy 4:1

I'm a Latter-day Saints. My religion teaches that angels are essentially heavenly messengers whom God uses to further His work here on earth. They are actual beings which, in form, look like humans. In other words, they don't have wings. :162: Several of the verses in the Bible which refer to them speak of them as having the appearance of men, although there's no reason they could not be women. They can be either unembodied spirits or resurrected beings. Whatever they may look like, they have in the past, been associated with the delivery of messages from God to human beings. For instance, the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would give birth to the Savior, and at His birth, a multitude of angels brought the news to the shepherds watching their flocks near Bethlehem.

I know of only one: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ was prophesied by John the Beloved.

In Revelation 14:6, we read, "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people."

My faith says sometimes God uses angels, but most often if an angel is needed its US that should step forward to do the job.
