Well, if Arab culture still treats women as property, then it needs a dose of humanism. Treating women as property is wrong, regardless of whether or not it is traditional.
Yes, and to further this point, dying from illnesses and infections is also traditional, but we've invented vaccines and sterilization which have improved that problem. Electricity isn't traditional. Locomotives aren't traditional either. Yet their culture has enthusiastically picked up on these discoveries. Clearly they are willing to change their ways, if it helps them. So now I think it's time that they see the value in modernizing their culture in ways that aren't limited to technology.

i want to start a thread to make things clear about the definition of a whore:

i think the whore is one of the following:

1.the one who never cares about the pride of her brother, father and son and has illegal sex.
2.the one who has sex with other women.
3.the one who betrays her husband uncaring of all what he'd done for her and their children.

one of the following is not a whore:

1.the one who was forced to have sex in order to get a certain benefit.
2.the one who was raped.

i think these are the defintions for the real whores and the false ones

like to know your thoughts
You know, you could have saved yourself a lot of time if you had looked the word up in a dictionary;
English shorter Oxford Whore: noun derogatory a prostitute or promiscuous woman
Merriam Webster: 1 : a woman who engages in sexual acts for money : PROSTITUTE; also : a promiscuous or immoral woman
2 : a male who engages in sexual acts for money

I can't really understand why you are trying to bring Lesbians into the definition.........

If you do, I recommend doing it from a safe distance, and preferably remaining anonymous as you do so.

May,

You took a mighty whack at it and missed the softball I threw you completely.

Tee it up and try again. The point of my post was,and is, that you think they got it wrong, and they think you got it wrong, how in the world are we ever to conclude that you are correct, or that they are correct.

Neither side has one whit of actual evidence for their position, yet they are willing to die and kill over their chosen beleif, and are firmly convinced that they other folks got it wrong.

My question, quite bluntly is how do you know you are right and the Muslim is wrong? or the Christian, or the Jew, or the Buddhist etc. etc. etc.

JW are no part of christendom, we follow what the bible says, but christendom have taken part in war .JW have never killed anyone because they do not learn how to kill we stick to the bible and its teachings but christendom speaks for its self. the way to find out who is right is to look at the fruitage , the fruitage will show them up for good or bad

Fruitage? Do you mean their treatment of homosexuals?

On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control....Galations 5;22

(Colossians 1:10) in order to walk worthily of Jehovah to the end of fully pleasing [him] as YOU go on bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the accurate knowledge of God,
