2+2=5

It also demonstrates a scenario where two of something (in this case, nothing) plus two of something yields five of something.

It's a philosophically interesting question, but since it only works with zero it doesn't seem to have any practical purpose.

2 * 0 + 2 * 0 = 5 * 0
2 * infinity + 2 * infinity = 5 * infinity
0=0 for the first.
But the second one, 2(undefined number)+2(undefined number) is NOT equal to 5(undefined number)

Is there a way to do the not equal to sign with a keyboard?

=/= is how I see most people do it.

2.4444444 + 2.4444444 = 4.888...
that's about the only way to make 2+2=5 that doesn't require an advanced degree that I'm aware of :p

And to be fair I"m not aware of a lot.

No, it does not.
2*0 = 0
2*0 + 2*0 = 0
5*0 = 0
2*0 + 2*0 = 5*0 = 0

Two of nothing is mathematically equivalent to nothing at all.

It actually is possible.
2 * 0 + 2 * 0 = 5 * 0
2 * infinity + 2 * infinity = 5 * infinity

You can't treat infinity like a number, it's an abstract concept.

Also 5*infinity= infinity.

It depends on how you view mathematical statements.
Do you see them as absolute laws, or descriptions of patterns that appear in nature?

My first equation used multiplication by zero, and not division by zero.
Yes, but when you try to get the original equation back by dividing with zero, you really don't get any meaningful answer. Try again.

no, it demonstrates that two of nothing added to two of nothing equals any number of nothing. because nothing is nothing, not something. Your argument is intellectually dishonest.
