Question (about the bible versions)

This is a very interesting thread,
It shows the danger of accepting literal translations of any of the Bibles as Authoritative,( in that literal sense)
All of the Bibles give the inspiration of Christs teaching and Gods love of man.
You can Either decide to be a student of Biblical writings, or accept the teaching of the bible you normally use and be inspired by its message, but not bound by, the inevitably controversial detail,of the words.

The words of the Lord are pure words...Thou shalt keep them O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Psalm 12:6-7. And Jesus said not one jot nor one tittle would pass away, the world would pass away but not his word, so I won't make God a liar. We have his word preserved diligently for us, in the Received Text, and the KJV.

Hmnnn... you equate the Scriptures with being the word of God. Can you show us a reference that clearly states this? I would hope that you wouldn't add anything to the Scriptures at all.

In Mark 4:4, above, Jesus equated scripture with the word of God, I will take his word on it, without 'adding' to the scriptures at all, thank-you.

Great verses... I love and believe each and every one of them. But NONE of them say that

Word of God = Scriptures

Is your assumption valid? Possibly not. I have always found it a safe practice to preach only what God preaches. If he didn't come out and just say it, then there MUST be a reason.

Here is a whole passel of scriptures on the "word of God" and not ONE of them claims what you have claimed:

Please comment on the verse in the Bible which states: How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? Lo, Certainly in Vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain. ( Jeremiah 8:8)
Does this verse imply or suggest that the law (old Testament) is in vain, in other words corrupt?

i would say that those who CLAIM to represent God are really false teachers, they have rejected the very word of Jehovah and what wisdom do they have (none) its the same today those who Claim to represent the God of the bible are really false teachers and what wisdom do they have (none)
