Attention Pagans!

There is a project that has been talked about a lot this year called Project Conversion. No, its not about converting others. It is about a man named Andrew who is converting to a different religion for every month and is publicly sharing his discoveries. Starting tomorrow, he will be diving deep into the Pagan faith.

Its gotten some pretty good press, being talked about on The Wild Hunt, The Huffington Post, Raleigh News and Raleigh Observer, among others. Andrew will have a mentor (and a full coven for our month), but he still needs help from other pagans for ideas and viewpoints, not to mention comments and the thoughts of the diversity of our faith. You can read his blog and comment there, or like his Facebook page and join, or both! Here are the links.

On the blog, if you see stuff about Sihkism, its because he hasnt started the pagan faith yet. Tomorrow there will be a post.

Please, please, please come and read and join the discussion. Brothers and sisters, he needs our help and input!

This seems like a very strange project. It is realistically possible to "convert" to a new religion every month? >_<

I will check it out, though.

There are so many different "Pagan" religions. Which one specifically is he converting to? There is no single religion called Paganism, because it refers to many religions. I'm just curious as to what this person is going to consider to be the Pagan religion to convert to for this month.

That's what came to my mind.

Does anyone know what Pagan faith is he going into? Wicca, Ásatrú, Hellenic, Kemetic..?

ETA: Looks like Wicca. :)

Even within Wicca there's a ton of variety. He can't be doing "traditional" Wicca, though. There's no way any lineaged, oath-bound, initiation-based tradition would let him in to do this experiment for a month. O_O;

Looks like he already has a mentor in the "Fey Wiccan" tradition.
