Temporarily Deactive.
Actually, why I stayed on is mentioned in Romans:

"Suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope (Romans 5:3-4)."

Thanks Feathers... I just had to put a few bigots on "ignore" and the whole tenor of the place changes! :D I decided I wasn't going to let a couple of chronic abusers run me out of Dodge.

Before the site even opened, Rex was advertising on VeggieBoards.com (and some other forums as well) which I was a member of at the time. So I came over to check it out... and I'm still here. :)

Hee hee hee! I'm not keeping any secrets! Ker Krypter was the one, but he was banned not too long ago.

But I got to stay for good behaviour! :biglaugh:
As was my referrer, Kowalski, a dear friend.

I was a regular contributor at another similar BB ("Christian Discussion" - now defunct), when it almost overnight went belly-up, with no real explanation. A couple of members there provided a few alternate BB's that they considered of comparable quality and character, and REF was one of them.

I'm pleased to say that they were dead wrong. ;-)

Overall, REF is far superior in it's broad range of membership/contributors, content, innovative board features, and (dare I say it?) top-notch "staff" of moderators. Heck. I was so impressed after just a few days, I chose to become a monetary supporter of the forum (putting my pittance of paltry coin where my virtual electronic bombastic mouth is...).

edit: a caveat; I have been practicing singing Low notes, and the best songs for that are Negro spirituals; sometimes, the mantle of the characyer I assume for the singing takes me over. I have worked my way through 'River stay away from my door', Vermeo, oh Romano (An eriskay love lilt)- russian so not Negro, but all to the accompaniment of Paul Robeson - He da Real singing man.

Wow, it's been a while since I first came here. I began my postings on some martial arts forums, but ended up arguing about taoism more than martial arts. So I decided to search for some religious forums, and found rex.
