Class Warfare

There is a class warfare against the wealthy that will be getting worse with President Obama's new initiative to raise their taxes. Who is responsible for this blatant discrimination and persecution against the wealthy? The originator of this class warfare has been revealed in books that recorded his warnings and his campaign against those of wealth.

Matthew 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Mark 10:24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luke 18:24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Obviously this class warfare discrimination against the wealthy originated with the poor Jews simply out of jealousy of those who were better than they were. Those Jews always were a rebellious lot. Now Democrats have taken up the cause to redistribute the wealth to those in need.

As Warren Buffet pointed out, the class war in America was started by the rich and the rich are winning.

I think it be worth mentioning that the middle class by 1960's standards would be looked upon as living in poverty today.

Back in the 1960's someone who lives the middle class life style today would be looked upon as rich by their standards back then.

It all comes down to the fact that poor folks do not create jobs.

If we do not have rich folks investing, there will be no additional jobs.

It is the belief that the government has the ability to create jobs and not the private sector that is the problem right now.

My biggest concern is that 51% of the people are fine with paying no federal income tax and want to be supported by the other 49%.

This is no different from three wolves and one sheep voting on what is for dinner.

Rich people do not create jobs, Rick. Economic demand creates jobs. No one hires unless there's economic demand. And both rich and poor create demand by buying things.

OK, lets roll with this one. The poor for the most part buy cheap Chinese goods, not much opportunity there.

The middle class is a dying breed, so they fight tooth and nail to find value. When I give you value, my expenses go up and my profit margin goes down. The middle class don't build much commercial real estate but they do at times build houses which is twice the work for half the money in my line of work. Thats why I don't wire houses, there is no money in it.

The rich however do spend money, they are my life blood of capital and the only people who enable me to make money doing things for them. Keeping them happy is not so much about price and more about substance and time lines.

But Guns are still cheap enough that the poor can afford them and there are far more poor people than rich. :sorry1:

Interesting that you point out labor rates for commercial work. I've always thought you guyz charged too much, so I use non-electricians to do my electrical work.
I get a good job for half the price.

Sure, Rick. Everyone is hiring today because rich folk create jobs. Look around you dude. No one is hiring because there's no demand. But the rich are just as rich or rich than they were at the start of this recession. Do the math.

Unless your building burns down. Do these "non electricians" have liability insurance?

If I cannot charge too much, how do you expect me to own boats and fancy cars?

I have a side business moving heavy machinery.
Ain't a poor customer among them.
Well-to-do people are the ones running businesses & hiring.
The poor just consume, & (if we're lucky) work for others.

I don't hire without proof of liability insurance.
And one must be careful regarding which carpenter does electrical work.
This approach isn't for everyone. But I get great work for good prices, & I don't have to put up with union attitudes.

You'll be happier without obsessing over material things. I'm here to help.

There is a great deal to lose here. If the classes do start to believe that each is unworthy they will revolt. The revolution will not be pretty.

Warren Buffett is a genius. He gets to keep all his money and still look good to the common people. He's hedging his bets. He know's most of his rich brethren will not cave to taxes but realizes if this gets any worse he will be outnumbered. He wants to keep his money.

lol ignoreing the blatant disregard for the context and meaning of the verses, I find most problem with the thinking that the Democrats are influenced by Jesus. As if! Democrats are not Christians, or at least are not good Christians. Their support for abortion is a sign of that.

Nah.....I see some good Xians supporting abortion rights. Discussing it with them, I've found that scripture is murky on that topic, giving them some leeway.
Jesus gets bi-partisan support....but I guess he'd also do double face palms at the antics of some of his followers.

If there were a class war, who do you think would win?

This seems like empty rhetoric from rich Republicans and their minions.

I got to thinking about this all out war thing. Poor people have nothing to lose where rich folks do.

Conversely, when you kill a rich person, someone else inherits. Wealthy people are kinda like zombies.
