What Peace, ? where is the peace, war on the streets and war in the world, war in the home, war everywhere.

K
yes, he is the ruler of the world , 1 john 5;19) that is why there is war etc ect but that rulership will come to its end , because Jehovah God will use Jesus christ to get rid of him , and that is a promise from the bible , so he hasnt won he is just being allowed to rule , but not for much longer..... psalm 37; 9-11
(Hebrews 10:37) For yet "a very little while," and "he who is coming will arrive and will not delay."

(1 Peter 4:7) But the end of all things has drawn close. Be sound in mind, therefore, and be vigilant with a view to prayers.

So who was talking to when he said:
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

One of us? Would this imply there was more than one god. Just like he does in the 10 commandments.
Jesus had a pre-human existence with his Father Jehovah in the heavens before he came to the earth as a man. so it was Jesus he was talking to, Jesus was the first-born of creation the only one created by Jehovah alone , every thing else since Jesus was created , was created through Jesus himself ,so it seems that Jehovah was talking to his son

Where is that written? That is not in the bible. You or someone is just making this stuff up to fit your particular beliefs.

Yes. From a biblical perspective, I think he does have objectives which he is trying to meet. Below are a few bible references.

1. To cause Temptation (entire passage is Matthew 4:1 through 4:11)

Matthew 4:1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. 2After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."

1 Corinthians 7:5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

2. To Torment

1 Corinthians 7:5 To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.

3. To lead people astray

Mark 4:15Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.
Revelation 12:9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Good response. But these are the details of the way he's going to meet his objective. What do you think is overall objective is?

Why is he doing all of these things? What does he want from us? Surely, he doesn't just want us to be miserable. He must have a grand plan.

study the bible and find out that this is true
Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man john 3;13.............. the son of man is jesus

because I have come down from heaven to do, not my will, but the will of him that sent me...john 6;38

What, therefore, if YOU should behold the Son of man ascending to where he was before? ...john 6;62

So he went on to say to them: "YOU are from the realms below; I am from the realms above. YOU are from this world; I am not from this world...john 8;23

Jesus said to them: "If God were YOUR Father, YOU would love me, for from God I came forth and am here. Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth.....john 8;42

Jesus said to them: "Most truly I say to YOU, Before Abraham came into existence, I have been. ...john 8;58

In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. This one was in [the] beginning with God....john 1;1-2

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation collosians 1; 15

That is what is written not that it is true. You did not answer my question. I am to guess you are presuming that god was talking to jesus because it does not say that in the bible. What about Elijah? How did he get to heaven?

well it depends wether you believe the bible is the word of God i suppose, yes i have heard people speak about Elijah going to heaven , but some times it is not always as it seems , because Elijah did not die at that time nor did he go into the invisible spirit realm, but he was transferred to another assignment ,the bible tells us in john 3;13 that no man has gone up into heaven,In fact a number of years after his ascention in the windstorm, Elijah is still alive and active as a prophet ,this time to the king of Judah,Elijah writes him a letter expressing Jehovahs condemnation because of wickedness .2 chronicals 21;12-15 also Elisha did not hold any mourning period for his master so Elijah did not die it is us sometimes that put a wrong thought to the verses.

Satan's primary objective is to keep us from worshipping God. If he can get us to follow our own understanding and do whatever we want, he has accomplished his goal. You either serve God or you don't.
