Can you define a game and what makes a game a game?

Does it have to have atleast 2 people?

no solitare is a "game right"

Does it have to be fun?

no russian roulette is a "game"

So what makes a game, a game?

Hmm....I dunno! :) Here's the best I can think of: in something that is purely a simulation, it is meant only to model a reality--in other words, there are no objectives and you never win. A game can simulate something, but there have to be challenging objectives for the player(s) who try to accomplish them in order to win (only to play some more, of course!)
