Quantum Spirituality

“Spirituality is an important part of life. It is possible to be an Atheist or an Agnostic and not deny the reality of the spirit world or spiritual life. The spiritual world does not have to be seen as supernatural. What we perceive as the Spirit World or as supernatural may actually be different realities intersecting with our own. Let me try to explain. There is a theory in Quantum Physics that all time is NOW and all space is HERE. In other words, all of history is happening NOW, but on different levels or planes of reality. This theory, if correct, would go a long way toward explaining ghosts, haunted houses or sites, historical anachronisms (items appearing in history before they were invented, for instance), and a host of other things. These events could simply be the result of periodic intersections between our time/reality and other time periods/realities. This idea doesn’t seem too farfetched to me. It does have scientific support and it explains a great deal without invoking the supernatural.” --http://www.religionisbull****.com/qspirit.htm

The Quantum Metaphysical Spirituality of Science

– Michael Levy
May 2, 2004

For thousands of years religious dogma and tribal superstitions kept scientific thinkers in a locked box. Many outspoken scholars were executed because their scientific findings were looked upon as heresy. It is only in the past two hundred years that free academic study of science was allowed to flourish unhindered by ancient religious doctrines.

Once academic scientific studies were established they rejected and ridiculed anything spiritual or metaphysical if it could not be proven by a mathematical formula. Even in today's world a few professors and scientists are closed minded to anything that resembles spirituality, but things are changing at a very rapid pace. Just as religion had to succumb to scientific knowledge, so now, science is beginning to unravel the mysteries of the universe with Quantum physics and their latest findings are stretching science into the realms of metaphysical spirituality.

After all is said and done, there can only be one truth that explains the creation/evolving of the universe, but there may be many pathways, within one truth, that will explain humanities curiosity of the cosmic puzzles.

Quantum science is going beyond the probe of atoms, photons, neutrons, quirks and exploring a newer string theory (dancing, unobservable, vibrational waves of energy) and membrane theory (Multiple universes, carved up into slices, living side by side, all conduced by?). Together they give room to explore what is know as the M-theory which is undertaking to prove the unity of Gravity, Electromagnetism, Weak and Strong nuclear forces. The deeper Quantum physicists explore, the closer they encircle metaphysical philosophy. They are realizing there are higher realities within infinite dimensions of intelligent vibrational energy.

Ever since humans could look up at the stars at night they have pondered the mystical magic of the cosmos. Many great ancient dynasties such as the Egyptian, Greek, Roman and Chinese debated the awe and wonder of the heavens. Brilliant, illustrious philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, Confucius and many more, have talked about human kinds connection to the invisible eternal flows of energy that govern the Cosmos. And now, within the next hundred years, mathematical proof will uncover the connection between science , philosophy and spirituality.

It seems string theorists have uncovered eleven dimensions to our universe. Some Quantum Physicists even go so far as to state the dimensions of the universe may be infinite. At the same time they are theorizing on parallel universes that live side by side with our universe. Perhaps an infinite number of universes? If this is proven to be true it will explain why our world was not formed by chance, for if there is an infinite number of universes, then it stands to common sense at least one would contain intelligent life as found here on earth. It can be no fluke, because of the infinite variety of universes. The formula to create our universe must differ from each and every other universe, in the same manner as no two humans are identical and each has their own free will to act within an inescapable framework.

The chances that there is another earth similar to ours in another universe are very slim indeed, for if there are two identical universes, one would be enmeshed in another, unless of course the universes are holograms of each other in different dimensions? But that would not give a variety of different universes and that seems improbable.

Even on the more basic levels medical science is engaged in many studies of spirituality within the fields of neurology, psychology many other sections of medicine.

Mental illnesses that may be caused by stress and erroneous thoughts are being treated with many alternative, spiritually related treatments, which were rejected a few years ago. At every level, open minded professors, scientists and physicians are welcoming metaphysical philosophers and spiritual masters to help in the quest to eradicated disease, pollution and many other ills of human kind.

All the resources of humanity will be required to solve the mysteries of our universe and beyond. As long as all lines of communication are kept open and no learning institution will favor one subject; namely science, at the expense of neglecting metaphysics or spirituality, then the world of Quantum Metaphysical Spiritual Science will blossom and bloom.... Humanity can at last realize they are one harmonious unit within a unified symphonic universe..... Maybe that unity on earth will make Albert Einstein a very happy camper as he looks at earth from his eternal cosmic home?

Good article. I am a huge proponent of remaining open. I heard a physicist talking about the "edge of the Universe." I can't even imagine an edge to the Universe. That doesn't seem possible to me. Talking about an edge would mean there is something beyond.

it depends on how u define reality. our minds and bodies are real. angels are real. God is real. animals and plants or other life is real. inanimate objects are real. only those in purgatory and heaven can see all reality. on earth we are limited to ourselves and what we sense. in short: reality is mind, personhood and the Divine. every thing else is circumstantial reality until u die. hell is also real. u can't see hell from heaven. u can in purgatory. the universe is also real.

One should ignore Michael Levy's opinions on science for he knows not what he is talking about.

I heard a physicist talking about the "edge of the Universe."

Physicists usually don't talk about the edge of the universe as it is a meaningless topic.

I`m no quantum physicist but but after reading Hawkings and Levyand others I have a hard time believing any of them know what they are talking about.
It seems to me they pile immense theories on top of scant evidence to proclaim anomalies that can`t possibly be authorative considering the lack of foundation for their theories.
The definition of "universe" as I know it is "space and all that it contains".
This would make the existence of an "edge to the universe" or even more than one universe impossible.
Someone straighten me out if you can because I just don`t get it.

Actually, Hawkings' foundation for his theories is General Relativity, a foundation built of years of experimental evidence.

"Actually, Hawkings' foundation for his theories is General Relativity, a foundation built of years of experimental evidence."

I understand that but many of his conclusions to me are so far from his evidence to make them require almost as much faith as biblical creationism.

For instance his theory of the existence of black holes...

The very definition of a black hole might very well make it impossible to ever confirm the existence of one, other than the fact that he says an event horizon can probably be viewed, but how would you ever really know it was an event horizon?

This to me sounds an awful lot like the existence of a deity in definition.

God himself states that he can not be looked upon so how can you ever know for sure he exists?

I do understand there is more evidence for the existence of black holes than of a deity but enough for them to be commonly accepted in the mainstream today?

The big bang theory itself eludes me also, while I can easily comprehend infinate space I just cannot comprehend infinate density.

It sounds to me like fitting the proverbial 500 trillion tons of crap in a half ounce bag.

I would like to let you know I`m not attempting to be adversarial with these statements.
These are just the thoughts of a layman as he struggles with difficult concepts.

Any enlightenment you can shed on these topics for me is truly appreciated.

The event horizon is defined by the Schwarzschild radius, loosely describing the boundary in which light attempts to escape a black hole.

This to me sounds an awful lot like the existence of a deity in definition.

It might to someone who does not understand the science.

God himself states that he can not be looked upon so how can you ever know for sure he exists?

Unlike gods, the effects of black holes are real.

I do understand there is more evidence for the existence of black holes than of a deity but enough for them to be commonly accepted in the mainstream today?

Correction, there IS evidence for black holes - there IS NO evidence for gods. Big difference.

The big bang theory itself eludes me also, while I can easily comprehend infinate space I just cannot comprehend infinate density.

Some study of the sciences is in order. Letting your imagination dictate your understanding will only lead to confusion.

It sounds to me like fitting the proverbial 500 trillion tons of crap in a half ounce bag. These are just the thoughts of a layman as he struggles with difficult concepts.

Then, rather than spouting diatribe, open a book and learn something.

Any enlightenment you can shed on these topics for me is truly appreciated.

Read a book.

"Unlike gods, the effects of black holes are real"

How do you know?
Has anyone encountered one?
Has anyone measured the effects of one?

"Correction, there IS evidence for black holes - there IS NO evidence for gods. Big difference."

What is this evidence?
The fact that a stars gravitational pull might be strong enough to prohibit it`s own light from travelling any farther than an event horizon doesn`t give evidence that there is a star like that.
Yet people believe these black holes exist.

"Some study of the sciences is in order. Letting your imagination dictate your understanding will only lead to confusion."

I am not "letting my imagination dictate" anything.
I am only stating my interpretation of what my study of these sciences has come to by inquiring as to how they come to their own conclusions.

"Then, rather than spouting diatribe, open a book and learn something."

Also..I am not "spouting diatribe" I am asking for clarification to a concept I do not understand even after studying the source material.

I have gone out of my way to show no offense in asking these questions I would ask you to give me the same respect in replying to them.
If you cannot do this please don`t reply because some of your replies in the previous post sound antagonistic as hell.

In answer to this last comment I have read the books yet don`t see what they base their conclusions on.
I am not saying their conclusions are wrong I`m just saying I don`t see the evidence they`ve based them on.
It`s entirely probable the failing is mine and all I`m doing is asking for a bit of clarification.

"Read a book."

Hmm..I find this answer ironic.

I tell the fundies I don`t see any evidence for a god and they tell me to "read The Book."

I tell you I don`t see any evidence of the big bang and you tell me to "read a book".

Your answers are only reinforcing my comparison between theology and the big bang.

Perhaps you could recommend a book that might help me?

Yet people believe these black holes exist.

Black holes are predicted by General Relativity. Many objects fitting this description have been observed, although scientists have yet to find one with a huge neon sign reading, "This is a black hole."

I am only stating my interpretation of what my study of these sciences has come to by inquiring as to how they come to their own conclusions.

You would need to have studied General Relativity in order to understand that particular subject matter.

I am asking for clarification to a concept I do not understand even after studying the source material

What part of GR don't you understand?

I don`t see the evidence they`ve based them on.

As I said earlier, the observations of objects fitting the description of black holes fit the predictions of GR.

Perhaps you could recommend a book that might help me?

cool observation linwood. i also think that God may be invisible because he is faster than light. u can only see him when he slows down. ha! God is everywhere. he is all encompassing. he loves you more than u realize. if your going to spend eternity with him u need to study him and develop a daily relationship with him as well as ure guardian angel who is your best friend.
