John Kerry's Spirituality

kerry is trying to imitate bush. the Holy Spirit(God) guides the church thru the pope. he is infallible and capable of sin. only official church teachings are in the realm of the pope's infallibility. he is a sinner too, but he is most holy.

I am sure you are right.....after all, President Bush himself said that he cannot thiink of any mistakes he has made during his Presidency....Kerry must be rreal jealous of Bush's infallibility :)

*snorts and cackles in an exteremly unladylike manner* Yeah, that whole attacking another country over weapons of mass distruction that it does not appear that they technically have... I'm betting Kerry is wishing he'd pulled that off.

the pope is infallible? oh come on. you may want to believe that, but seriously come on. there has been numerous popes who have manipulated the people, resulting in the crusades, a horrible mistake, a greedy selfish desire of the pope to attain money and power. you cannot be serious...

bush is a complete idiot. he barely acts christian. what kind of jesus lover would go into another country and pux around for wmd that werent there in the first place?

sigh. did he smoke pot when he was younger? some christian. next thing you kno, ppl will be trying to convince me he was renewed, born again. bull.
read this: http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/09/17/bush.guard.records.ap/index.html
he sugar coated his recordds since he was rejected from the force. so bush tries to get kerry through the swift boat ads. seriously.

and kerry stooped to thier level and started mocking the bush campain. seriously, can we be adults for a second? sigh.

yet, i would rather have kerry for pres.

in my church one can''t choose what he wants to believe...

if ure immoral ure sinning and insane or abnormal.
Which particular journal of psychology/psychiatry did this incontrovertable fact appear in? I'd be interested in reading the article.

by the way we have technologically improved to where the mother nor the child will die froom childbitht, all u have to do is find the right doctor or hospital. second and even third opinions are sometimes necessary to do so.
This information would come from the same journal as your previous reference to judging insanity then? FYI: In 1996 the maternal death rate in the USA was 11 deaths per 100,000 births. This was an INCREASE of 4 deaths per 100,000 births over the 1987 figure.
And the majority of these women die in hospital. (see http://www.essentialbaby.com.au/cfforum/viewmessages.cfm?forum=105&topic=45882) for a copy of the article - with references cited - that this information came from).

There should be no reasons for abortions. ...including the health of the mother. It seems to me that if the mother's life is at stake, which is an extremely rare occurence, doctors should try to save both the mother's and the infant's life. If this is not possible, then they should save the life of the living human being that they are most likely to be able to save. This is called triage.
Using that definition it would be triage to abort the child to save the mothers life. After all, the mother is in the best position to survive regardless, being essentially a life support system as she is.

I realise this was off topic, but people spouting rubbish about things they haven't even bothered looking into makes me quite cross.

How do you know when a politician is lying? His lips are moving.

If you can't come up with a better reason for voting for someone than their religious beliefs (ie: gee, I dunno, a POLICY of some description) then the candidate is probably without merit.
