Friends,

Who has the highest death rate? Human? or Cows?
Both are mere forms of consciousness in different time/space zones and so irrelevant to conscious beings but surely the vibrating mind can perceive only illusionary truths.

What about the Karma?
Sentiments are fine except during the ensuant conflagrations ---of 'En-mass Karmic' events.

What about the Karma?

I have quoted the Rg-veda. Thus there is no room for contention.

When did you quote it? I thought you said you quoted the Manu Samhita.

Surely, the concominant factors of bad karma resulting from the psuedo cult leaders of
World Parliments could fill many an accuarial's ledger book, in black and white print.

Who has the highest death rate? Human? or Cows?

It is a game of russian roulette to ignore the mandates of the Vedas in-regards to neglecting cow-protection in Human society.

Not every single human society is required to follow the Vedic texts.

Friends,
a conscious act does not have the karmic effect and when the mind is active it generates vibrations and so has its own effect.

STILL IT!

I do not undertand it. If consciously I eat excessive sweet everyday, will there be no karma effect?

Friend Vinayaka,

Could you quote exactly where BEEF eating is banned in SD.
SD to personal understanding

Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! still want to play the Guessing game??

I quoted Rg Veda regarding Cow protection http://www.religiousforums.com/forum/2515279-post14.html

I quoted Manu-Samhita regarding Birds having least karma acrrued than other meat sources.

every single human society is required to follow the Vedic texts.
I am referring to mass-karma ---ie: world wars, mass-death events ---all manifestations of (past) karma affecting 'multiple' birds with one stone.

Karma-pay back takes to path of least resistance; or, better yet, it awaits a perfect storm scenerio.

Friend atanu,

Thank you! as like to clarify the point further as there exists a qualitative difference in the sentence that needs to be understood.
What was meant was an act in *CONSCIOUSNESS*; now we need to understand that since we are BEINGS which means a process towards consciousness in which the MIND is involved which carries the resultant karmic effects of the past which simply cannot be wiped/dropped by bypassing it rather the journey is through it and so the first step is to be aware/conscious and then the consciousness grows where finally consciousness remains the mind drops.
When one eats consciously then the desire slowly drops as one starts being PRESENT and so the PAST which is also the MIND and the resultant karmic effects slowly drops in this case the desire to eat sweets drops.
When desires drop the need for eating sweets is only need based depending on the needs of the body.
The same goes for every act carried out consciously.
It can only be verified by practicing to be conscious in every act that one does and finally eat when hungry, sleep when sleepy.

Friend bhaktajan,

Protection of cows for the benefit of mankind has nothing to do with * consciousness* but simply being conscious of the benefits derived from cows.
In consciousness the cow or the human are in oneness and in oneness hardly anyone can kill even an ant.
Once again the idea of the thread is to discuss the topic and understand it purely in terms of consciousness be it any way and thank you for all your contributions towards the common goal.

... Two classes of men will never be interested in hearing the message of Bhagavad-Geeta and Srimad-Bhagvatam — those who are determined to commit suicide and those determined to kill cows and other animals for the satisfaction of their own tongues. Milk touched by the lips of a serpent has poisonous effects; similarly, talks about Krishna given by a non-vegetarian are also poisonous. ... SB 10.1.4 P

Uh, that's not what that verse says:

(41) Anyone of remembrance with the Lord who, rising early in the morning, with faith controlling his words reads out this story, will reach the supreme destination.'

I shall strive to get the verses in correct order.

Still not quite right:

(4) The hearing [through the paramparâ] of the pleasing vibrations of the glorification of the Lord Praised in the Verses is the right medicine by which the mind is released from the material disease of its desires; a person, unless he is a killer of animals, can by such descriptions heard or sung keep himself away [from the falsehood, control himself, see also B.G. 2: 44].
