Mine is myself, because I have the power to save myself, shoudl I choose to acknowledge it, whatever face I attach to my beliefs, it was me that made the choice to save myself.

Jesus is my saviour, why do I need Him, because I am a sinner and He came to take away the sins of the world and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have Eternal life..Amen..

Buddha doesn't save Buddhists; we each save ourselves. Buddha showed us the way to do so, but he himself is powerless to do anything about my life today, because he's been dead for well over 2000 years. I am the only one who can save me, just as you are the only one who can save you.

i suppose i could look at all the prophets and teachers of truth as my saviours in the sense that i was headed in a self destructive direction and did not care about my fellow man until i started studying the teachings of the prophets who were sent by God/Allah and i was helped in these studies by several different teachers. i do not place any one over the other, i look at Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, Elijah, Jeremiah, Buddha, Lao Tzu...... as all equal and cannot say one is my "saviour" more than the other since they all taught the same thing.
they are only my saviours in the sense that i follow their teachings, i do not need a human sacrifice to be saved unless you count the death of my previous self-destructive hate-filled self and the birth of my new love-filled self. but that was not a physical death. that was more of a spiritual rebirth i suppose.
