Welcome Greystone.
But isn't it only Islam and American fundamentalism that deny evolution?

We have at least 1 Aussie fundie here who denies it.
Contrary to popular belief, the US isn't the only country with knuckle walkers who bash science.
(Btw, don't think I disrespect knuckle walkers....some good friends of mine swing that way.)

I don't think anyone will welcome me here because I believe in evolution and almost all religous people of whatever faith believe in creationism.
Welcome.

This forum consists of people from a variety of paths, with only a subset of the members holding creationist beliefs. A rather large subset consists of atheists and agnostics, as well as theists from a variety of faiths that are moderate/liberal and/or accept evolution by natural selection as true.

So you're not out of place based on your acceptance of evolution.

Welcome to RF!

I think there are many here who have no problem with accepting the empirical evidence of biological evolution.

On the other hand, we do have our fair share of those who remain willfully ignorant of reality.

Welcome, evil evolutionist!
Why is evolution considered evil? Given that there is mountains of evidence for it and that over 99 per cent of all scientists agree it is true.

Not only that how do creationist deal with the subject of dinosaurs? Given that creationist believe the world is only about 12,000 years old how come dinosaurs are not mentioned in the Bible?

I am also an "evil evolutionist", as we are sometimes thought of.
(Note that I'm a heathen....an unlikely creationist.)

Not all creationists believe that the world is actually 12,000 years old. Actually, only a miniscule amount do.
