Biblical Condemnation of Judging Others

But not everyone agrees that the Bible is God talking, so when you quote the Bible, you are implying you agree with what it says and it's judgements, therefore you are agreeing with the judgements and in turn, judging.

One of the main messages of Jesus was "take the log out of your own eye." It means focus on your own issues and don't focus on what you think other people's issues are. Amazingly when you deal with your own log, you aren't so judgmental.

Be careful that you understand the two meanings of "judging" as related to the Bible. The first is "judging" as in condemning - and that is God's job, not man's.

The other meaning of "judging" is discerning. Jesus said that we would know a man by his fruits. This is a kind of judging as in discerning - we will know a man by what he does.

The discerning kind of judging is very important. We all should judge/discern philosophies, ideas, and people before we follow them. Right?

I believe the purpose of this thread is to say to those who believe a practice is immoral - "You should not judge others!"

But I say, discerning/judging what is immoral is so very important.
