Damn, and I had some pretty mean-spirited things I was going to say to him. Oh well. I guess I'll just say that this thread is silly and move on. :(
All these threads are silly and some are even incoherent (Truth). I like to read most of these for comic relief. It is fun to read how people try to rationalise the irrational and get worked up for nothing.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out why people argue over religion. It just doesn't make any damn sense to me. Arguing politics or science or bathroom etiquette in the context of domestic co-habitation, now that makes sense! Religion, in it's broadest scope, is filled with more conjecture and assumption than one could ever comprehend. Yet, we argue over this word or that word, and we argue over this god or that god, or we argue over whether or not a man was a prophet, a god or just a nice guy. I'm thoroughly curious as to whether or not anyone has gained any wisdom from such debates.

I think that's the right transliteration, but you are thinking of the correct word. :)

It looks fine from here. ;)

Becouse this forum is all about debates , you should of DEBATED if im right or wrong.
Putting up a debate point from memory holds abit more credibility than putting up an entire debate that comes from a site that has baby names.

We usualy call him "jewscout". Also, to avoid being rude, usually communicate in English.
I was just asking what his Hebrew name is... It's not a big deal. there isn't a debate on the subject, just a simple thing between two people. Relax, for some reason I think you have it out for me. Just look for the positive in everything. I could sit here and get rude with you, but I look for the positive in everything, including your attitude. :)

Because I'm interested in learning about the beliefs of others, not arguing which ones are good and which ones suck. Not everyone has a religious agenda here. I'm not trying to convert anyone to my religious practice. I find such a thing to be disrespectful. I imagine it this way; say man's god is like a man's wife and you walk up to the man in the presence of his wife and you say, your wife sucks, here's a woman who would make a much better wife for you. It just seems disrespectful and pompous.

Yes, I know.

No, it is not a big deal, and the "Private Message (PM)" facility is provided to facilitate simple communication between two people.

I am very relaxed, and I am not "out for you". I am simply of the opinion that doing what you did in a public forum is disrespectful and dismissive.

you are totally WRONG !! because simply the wife belong to her husband "according to you" but any religion belong to millions or billions of people and they have somthing in common in it and there are many things overthere to proof any religion if it really based in truth faith.

However, muslims, christians and jewish have the same God and i don't know about the other gods but the discussion is about the religion itself and it's for the sake of knowledge in order to learn more and to share your beliefs and thoughts not to stick to your belief only closing your eyes defending whatever comes toward you or toward your religion.

You'll notice that his faith is "Astaru", which means he is not defending his religion. You'll notice that many others here have stepped in, myself included, who do not belong in the 'muslim, christian, jewish' category. We are not closing our eyes, defending ourselves, or our religion. We are simply stating outright that we do not understand the logic behind being unkind to another person's faith. "All religions are but stepping stones back to God" goes a saying from the Pawnee tribe of North America. By arguing against (not debating about, but by arguing against) you are only removing the stepping stones from your own path.

i told him about God because he was saying that when you talk about God so it's like you talk about someone's wife that's why i told him most of discussion in the thread we are in now is talking about "Son of God" means "Servant of God" in Hebrew which concern about God and son of God. got my point???

that dosn't mean i don't acknowledge people whom dosn't have any religion at all.

i hope you can get what i'm trying to say.

O boy so much comments to answer too AHH!

Anyway since i didint get any explenation just that this is silly , if its so silly answer me ! lol

I would liek to point out that God in the bible used the word [ son ] not only for Jesus PBUH or Adam PBUH , So why not bring Adam PBUH to the trinity or squire.

O well i guess im being silly again , ill move on with a difrent topic then.

I don't think I understood a single sentence here. What about true faith?

i just meant mixing the relationship between wife and husband with a man with his God is wrong. Also, i meant that if someone can proof that his faith is true so why you are rejecting it and asking him to not do so? because instead of that you can argue and discuss about it.

got my point?

Truth,
I am a christian and we don't believe that Jesus was God because he said he was just a son of God. John 1:12, Rom 8:14, Rom 8:19, Phil 2:15, 1 John 3:1-2
are all verses that call the saints; sons of God. Yes I agree, son of God means follower or servant.

In the " Why is it always Islam vs. Christianity" thread Scott1 lists an extensive list of times Jesus claimed to be God in human form.
