Greetings. What are some of the scientific impacts of the 9.0 earthquake off the coast of Japan?
One news report indicated that the shelf off Japan dropped a couple of feet and the earth got smaller. This leads to faster rotation and that we loose time - 1.8 microseconds every 24 hours!
Also, the northern part of Japan moved 13 feet closer to the U.S.!
