The cake is a lie
Apparently someone tried to visit me while I was still in bed, since I found a copy of the July 15th, 2005 issue of The Watchtower on my doorstep when I woke up. :) I really liked the intro to it and planned to read it in depth later, but I was wondering if there were any sections in particular of this issue you guys wanted to comment on or ask I pay special attention to? It looks really interesting. :D

Hi Jensa,

Even though I am Christian, maybe I am bad sometimes. You know how salesmen mark the sidewalk to desciber their territotory? Well I think I got marked. Every Sunday they showed up early and I was getting irritated. So one day I asked the question, "do you think Jesus is with us right now?" They said "Yes!" I said "damn right he is standing right in front of you!" They never bothered me again. I am soooooooooo bad.

i really shouldn't, i guess i'll be held accountable for it, but on the other hand, if God can't see the funny side of it then im screwed for the rest of my judgement session :banghead3

I recommend reading it all. I'm not a jehovah's witness, but I really enjoy reading all their magazines. Except I don't get them anymore now that I'm in college. :( I'll read them a couple of times, 'cause sometimes one thing will stick out and the next time something completely different. Those are my two cents, even though I'm not JW, and have no idea what the issue is about :D.

I agree; I am always open to 'different' thoughts; I admire anyone who believes so strongly in their convictions.;)

maybe you can enlighten us about the content , Jehovah will always make sure that people have the chance to get to know him , :) the fact that you are on a site such as this must mean that you are spiritualy minded, and he knows that
(Ephesians 1:17) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give YOU a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the accurate knowledge of him;

It's easy to find the nearest Kingdom Hall in your college area.
Look in the phone book under "churches" & you'll find JW's or Kingdom Hall.
Call the # & request that mags be brought to you either at your dorm or wherever you want & it will be done.
You can be on their 'regular mag. route'. All you need do is tell them what you told us all right here and - problem solved!;)
I get alot out of the mags, too!

The magazines are great, ive learnt so much about Christianity through the magazines, plus after you have read a certain paragraph and you can test yourself with the question at the bottom of the page.

My computer is beeing weird so i might of posted the same message twice, sorry...:help:

The magazines are so helpfull and full of knowledge, they have taught me so much about Christianity. One other reason why i like the magazine, is because after you have read a paragraph you can test yourself about it by reading the question on the bottom of the page.
