I dont see a problem with celebrating it as long as its not a religious occasion. If i recall correctly, Easter, Christmas, and many other religious occasions all started off as pagan holidays but were Christianized of the centuries.

I have no problem with Halloween at all. In fact, my church does a "Trunk or Treat" in the parking lot every year to provide the kids with a safe place to trick or treat. It's a lot of fun (although the weather is usually freezing that night).

I see no problem with the church getting involved in pagan things. It's never been entirely original in the first place. But there's a separation between church and halloween - the church doesn't pretend that halloween is, in any way, a religious holiday. They're just doing this as community service.

Sorry i was unclear, flysky. What I meant was many holidays that are thought of as Christian now used to be pagan.Halloween is still thought to be pagan related. Celebrating Christmas or easter for instance is the same as celebrating the pagan traditions. Many of elements of both pagan and christian celebrations are the same. Ultimately, we dont have any precedent in the Bible(especially in the NT) other than the sabbath and passover, of any religious holiday observance. Therefore, holiday observance is best left on a secular level.
