Endangered Species Act (ESA): wolves throughout the Lower 48 United States are listed as endangered except in Minnesota where they are listed as threatened. In Alaska, wolves are not listed under the ESA.

They can only be shot on state or private lands in Alaska. There are Huge I mean Huge National Parks in that state that she cannot touch a wolf. From what I understand you can hunt wolfs from the Air in Alaska on state lands.

Yeah, you can also hunt boars from the air in Texas. The only difference is that in Texas those boars are a pest problem.

True, but I dont think how native a species of animals is matters unless that species is having a huge affect on the environment. Such as those boars are.

I used to live in Florida, where boars were a problem too. You were allowed to kill them in any way you wanted, and as many as you wanted. There were absolutely no limits.

Yep, those things are mean too. Have you seen the video clip of the guys who hunt them using only dogs and their hands?

No, I haven't. But I knew a guy who would go hunting with a spear. He'd approach a boar, and then just point the spear towards the boar. The boar would then charge him, and impale itself.

Save the animals, save the animals. Save ourselves FIRST! Boo-hoo and wah wah. Worry about helping the human population in designated areas of the world that are dying of all sorts of sicknesses. Help people that are homeless in your area. If the wolf population were to die off (which it won't, at least not for a long time) the world would still be just fine. Look at how many other species have died and are no longer. The world goes on. Do you think anyone would give a ****** if the species of Mosquitos or roaches were to die off? I think not.

Problem is that we are overpopulating the earth. By saving ourselves we could hit the carrying capacity faster.

The point is that because we are so numerous, we are killing off species that would otherwise survive. There used to be 2 million wolves, in every U.S. state (except Hawai'i) and for a while there were only wolves in Alaska. Now, fortunately, they have been reintroduced to a few states. How many people do you know of that think of all the people who die in the world? Not many. People don't care about other people who are dying, as long as they are living and so are their loved ones. That's the problem. Most of the people in today's world could care less about anything or anyone but themselves and their loved ones. That's it. So some people who are finally trying to stand up for the Earth are showing that not all people are the way the world seems. Humans don't need help. Animal species do. There are almost seven billion people in the world, and only a few thousand wolves. Why does the Human species need help surviving? We are doing just fine. When you look at the species that have gone extinct (disregarding the Dinosaurs and beings of the Ice Age and earlier) they all have gone extinct due to humans. Humans have not gone extinct, and are in no danger of it. We need to help the species that are in danger, because we have the capability of doing so.
