Nature shows us there is an opposite for everything. Without the two neither exist. Their is no right with no wrong, no up no down, one without the other just doesn't
exist, neither will appear. When Humans first began which ever theoey you believe. One without the other neither will exist. Which came first Sceince or Religion? The earliest people when they first started writing wrote about some type of god same with drawings. Sceince proves the times for us. Before that was just thought and we have no way to know that. So for me I go to religion came first.

And, where is "homosepien's" opposite. Without a contradiction to us we don't exist, right??????

openyourmind, every example you gave are human concepts, not things that occur in nature. This tells me that perhaps this dualism exists only within the human mind.

Opposites are a human concept that often fails to represent reality.
Dark is not the opposite of light.
Dark is our description of the absence of light energy.
Cold is not the opposite of heat.
Cold is our description of the absence heat energy.
Up and down are simply human constructs of our perception based on earths gravity. Once we leave the constraints of the earth, up and down are meaningless. (Ask an astronaut about vertigo.)
