Oh thank you! We were extremely happy because we beat these teams from Alabama that we've been after since September, and our second place win was out of thirty-six teams...*continues to brag about self*

There's this one team in our district that wins first place at every tournament, though, and we've only beaten them once, so full satisfaction is yet to be attained.

The topic was Resolved: Cyberbullying should be a criminal offense. Kinda silly if you ask me. Next weekend we are debating whether plea bargaining undermines the criminal justice system and in February the topic concerns how Wikileaks affects national security. Looking forwards to that one!

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Oh, well - there are crazies everywhere. But, for instance, my picture is in our local newspaper fairly regularly, and it's online, so I don't really see the big deal.

I don't have any sort of overly sensitive job though, and I don't think I inspire hatred in many people, either.

Maybe not for you there is a problem...but I have recived hundreds of death threats over the years...I am therefore cautious.

Some people join forums actually to socialize and be friendly, to have a healthy debate if they are lucky too.
maybe the problem is what forums you join and what you say to other people.
if you think people are willing to kill you over things you say over the internet. obviously that is not a normal thing.
