Oh, I know that. And I'm sure curious visitors to this thread will find that out by clicking the links.I hope that you realise that ark isnt just a website for stange looking animals. its actually a movement to help the conservation of endangerd animals. every animal that you can find on that site is in danger of dissapearing from the face of this planet.

Trees! Maybe I should create a thread extolling the virtues of them, especially the lesser known ones.... It's a thought.no thank you, I just wanted to sound like a treehugger for a second :bunny:
Awesome. Thanks for reviving the thread, Painted Wolf.Gastric Brooding Frog... they shut down their stomach and swallowed their eggs to protect them. Then threw up the fully developed froglets. Sadly both species went extinct in the 1980's. Less than a decade after they were discovered.
For mammals I give you the Babirusa an awesome suid from south east asia.

I love a good "what the heck is that" animal thread!Awesome. Thanks for reviving the thread, Painted Wolf.
And such a shame those frogs went extinct. It would be nice if there was an undiscovered population in the middle of nowhere.
