Greetings to all

I am currently on a quest to find out where I fit in the religious world.
I was raised in a Christian home, introduced to Paganism in high school
and really felt a strong connection to it, but was not allowed to pursue my interest.

I have always felt a strong connection to animals and nature.
I guess that is one reason Paganism appealed so much to me.
But I have also heard many things from other religions that I believe in as well...
ying and yang, the Wiccan Rede, the teachings of Buddha, etc

So now that I am out of my parents home and out from under their rules,
I finally feel free to explore the great religions of the world and see where I might best fit.

Peace and Blessings to everyone,
VenatorAnima

Welcome to RF!

We have a Seekers' DIR on RF, where seekers can chat and offer advice. You can thank me for campaigning for it later. :D

What paths are you drawn to most of all and which have you studied, may I ask?

I really don't know what paths I am drawn to... there are so many that I believe different things from. I don't know that I can just pick one (or 20 ;))
As far as what I have studied... I have read some about Paganism in general, and Wicca

What do you think of Jesus teachings such as his Sermon on the Mount and Golden Rule?

I try to live by the Golden Rule everyday... as far as the Sermon on the Mount, I think it was a good speech given by a good man.

Just imagine what the earth would be like if everyone lived by the Golden Rule?

Do you think there is any validity to Jesus promise that the meek will inherit the earth? -Psalm 37 vs11,29
