Why is Jesus the returning Messiah?

Assalam-u-alaikum!

Can any Muslim prove to me that Jesus is actually coming back to this earth in a body of flesh? If so, prove it with the Quran and get me some verses if you can....

Well if you believe any of what asian religions believe, reincarnation (spelling???) is in fact something that all life form goes through until their soul / spirit has reached that level of purity to return to the source (heaven, navana etc) to which it originally came from.

So infact Jesus was or maybe right in saying he would return, because if his soul was not as pure as he thought it was, he would be reborn and keep being reborn until he was.

In actual fact, many of asian religions and some other beliefs of the australian aboriginals, american indians, incas etc also preached in rebirth into other life forms and that earth it self was in fact what monothesist call hell. Hell after all is a place of tourment and suffering on the soul.

Well, I don't believe in reincarnation because of the flaws it contains. On top of that, it was Muhammad (saw) who said that Jesus will return but it was only metaphorical.

very nicely designed, full of info. While I hold the belief that Jesus Christ can come back to earth again, this can also be a spiritual return, that is, by means of purification of the christian doctrines etc.

Well, the websites provided are extremely detailed. I would like to start with just three verses:

[3:56] Remember the time when Allah said, 'O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will raise thee to Myself, and will clear thee of the charges of those who disbelieve, and will exalt those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differ.'

[5:117] And when Allah will say, 'O Jesus, son of Mary, didst thou say to men, 'Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah?' he will answer, 'Holy art THOU, I could never say that which I had no right. If I had said it, Thou wouldst have surely known it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy mind. It is Thou alone Who art the Knower of all hidden things;

[5:118] 'I said nothing to them except that which Thou didst command me - Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them, but since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou, hast been the Watcher over them, and Thou art Witness over all things;

Doesn't it become absolutely clear from the above verses that Jesus is not coming back?

Actually, buddy, the known Mahdi that will come in the end of times insh'Allah, and Eisa are not one in the same person. The Prophet(SAWS) said that I'sa(AS) will pray behind the Mahdi, saying to him that the imaam is of this ummah. Also, the Prophet(SAWS) mentioned several attributes of the Mahdi, that he will be of the same family of the Prophet(SAWS) and bear the same name, Muhammed ibn Abdullah. And I'sa(AS) does not fit that description.
