What about the genetic code to grow angel wings?

Correct me if I'm wrong here Wolf, but I think the biggest hurdle against humans getting angel-like wings is the fact that we are tetrapods, and changing that body-plan is no easy task. Sure, you can find pictures of animals with extra limbs but that is due to failed cell division and not a mutation that actually changes the overall body-plan. :magic:

In the case of animals losing limbs (such as whales) that is just due to those limbs becoming so degenerated that they eventually aren't there any more for practical purposes, but you can still see the vestigial remnants in their skeleton and during embryo development.

Seven pages about people with wings and not a single mention of 'Max Ride'!
I'm disappointed in all of you.

Could we potentially alter human dna to evolve into a speices of winged people ressembling angels in the future? Is heaven in the future? Or did we miss it? Or is it all just whatever we can make it?:angel2:

I can't imagine anyone wanting avian wings or any other animal appendages grafted onto them. Angels are such a lame and lazy concept.

Especially if you want any usefulness... Mutations that simply add a limb usually don't provide any functionality, simply twisted deformed limbs.

Losing is much easier than gaining.

And yes, we are tetrapods.

And yes, I'd love a tail. :wolf:

I suddenly felt that I wanted to have horns and some 'sharps' on my hands, that are similar to those of wolverine.

Did you mean "a" wolverine or "the" Wolverine? :sarcastic

Cause, I ain't seen no animal wielding these...

...although, if I ever saw one it would immediately become my new favourite animal! :D :D :D

Ever wonder how Wolverine is able to extend and retract those claws of his at will? And also what is the mechanism inside his forearms that allow him to do this?

I wonder if there's an in-universe explanation for any this ... :wolverine:

Here you go: Wolverine's Claws (comic book concept)
