Halloween is terrific, in theory. I just hate dressing up. But the candy, parties, ghosts, devil worship and pure evil are all good fun.
Pete's comments on atheists make him appear more and more every day like exactly what he's rejecting here.
Alas, I was away for Halloween this year, but even in the airport, some dressed up for the day. I went for subtlety....my Mambo
(a wicked Australian company) shirt with evil green grinning pinnaples on it. I hope that all had a perfectly revolting Halloween!
Btw, some costume suggestions.....I bet:
Tomato1236 would make a killer tomato.
Meow Mix & Katzpur would both be felinacious Cat Women.
Smoke would be a wrathful wraith.
Wirey....wherever he is....could dress up & act like a normal person.
Midnite Pete could go as the revolting one....to slither a mile in my shoes.

Lucifer is a title and means "morning star".
Jesus also once carried the title of Lucifer for a time.
Satan merely means "adversary".
Interesting how neither one of the titles is ever used as a name in the Bible...

Hey, you said that Jesus bore the title of Lucifer for a time, and when an explanation was asked for, you cited a verse.
And seeing as the word "lucifer" does not occur in that verse, it is not an example of Jesus bearing that name.
If you want a verse where it's at least implies Jesus being called Lucifer, here you go:

The King James Version is based on the Vulgate, the Latin translation of Jerome. Jerome translated the Hebrew helel (bright or brilliant one) as "Lucifer," which was a reasonable Latin equivalent.
Then we have Jesus: Revelation 22:16
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
